These are the top 24 that I have heard - minus two girls (highlight to view)
Gals: Ayla Brown, Becky O'Donohue, Brenna Gethers, Heather Cox, Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler, Kinnik, Lisa Tucker, Mandisa Hundley, Paris Bennett.
Guys: Ace Young, Bobby Bennett, Bucky Covington, Chris Daughtry, David Radford, Elliott Yamin (also known as Efraym Yamin on some lists, but it's the same guy), Gedeon McKinney, Kevin Covais, Patrick Hall, Sway, Taylor Hicks, William Makar.

I'm just subscribing now that I'm a fan of American Idol. I can't believe I never had any desire to watch it until this season. I've heard the names Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken-who else has there been? But a few weeks ago, flipping through the channels, I found it and now I'm hooked!

Other notables to come out of AI include Josh Gracin, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Kimberley Locke, Bo Bice, and Carrie Underwood (Jesus take the Wheeeeeeeeeel!)

Because we all know their fate, I'm not going to invisotext this message. But about the Brittenum (sp?) twins. They are on the list of the top 48 contestants. My guess is that they went to the Hollywood rounds and survived but when the remaining contestants (top 48) were invited back to be narrowed to the top 24 the Twins were not. Just my guess, but I'm trying to reason their inclusion on the top 48 lists.

good show tonight! i love taylor & patrick & paris so far. also wanted to add that our local news is doing yet ANOTHER story on justin guarini on the 10 PM news....he's a local guy. they never fail to update us on what he's up to every couple of months, too bad the rest of america doesn't seem interested!

After hearing the nastiness of the (Jailbird- can't think of their name) twins, I'm glad we won't be seeing them again, even though they made it through. I really didn't think they were that good anyway.

I hated how the show wasted so much airtime tonight (and probably tomorrow night) on those Twins.

I really like Chris too...and Patrick. I thought the younger set of twins was so much better than the Brittenum twins. I also thought they were very nasty and was not impressed with them at all.

The Bittenbaum twins better enjoy their 10 minutes of fame.... They aren't exactly out of legal trouble and I figure their attitude won't let them make it anyway... Their record company will expect them to WORK, they expect to be treated like royality! The "signing" was a PR stunt and they fell for it! No one is going to work for them and they won't work for themselves.

I thought the younger set of twins was so much better than the Brittenum twins. I also thought they were very nasty and was not impressed with them at all.

I think they put through the wrong set of twins! Not only could the other set sing better but they were a lot more humble.

I totally agree! Something about Chris made me like him from the very beginning...not only his singing talent, but his quiet personality. I can tell I will be rooting for him the MOST.

Attitudes like those twins really turn me off too!

I also loved Paris, Katherine (WOW can she sing!!), Patrick, Ace, and the undertaker guy. I wish they would have shown his audition.

The younger set were very gracious on their defeat. I loved the comment about how they are just 17. They know they are young and have a great life ahead of themselves.

Being horrible on names, it will be weeks before I stop using descriptions to say who I liked.

The big question is... Did the Undertaker get in? I either missed him singer or they didn't show him. And the belly dancer girl, didn't see her either.

I've seen Ace's name mentioned a lot. After last night I know why.

The only person who did make it and was no where near as good as her first audition was Kelly. She looked super nervous.

And now a few words about the guy with the gray hair.


Simon should get over himself about that guy's looks. Check out the audience's reaction to his singing Simon!! They were blown away.
