1. Patrick - Come to my Window
Blah, blah...what was he saying about angst? He didn't show any in his performance. He turned a beautiful rock song into a pop disaster. He should stick with ballads. And who was his friend in the audience?

Can we say collagen lips.
Didn't quite agree on this one. He was okay. I don't think it's time for him to go yet. He really has a good voice and I'd like to hear another week of him. OMG! I had to go back to his performance twice to check out Hot Lips!
2. David - Crazy little thing
I thought it was ok. On the recap it sounded worse.
This was painful. I really liked him since he looks so much like Harry Connick, Jr. but this performance was something you'd see one of those lip synch shows. Can anyone say "Puttin on the Hits"?
3. Bucky - Simple Man
It was refreshing to hear some rock after the first two performers. Love the rough southern rock vibe.
His vocals were a bit scratchy, but I'll bet there were some redneck women fanning themselves tonight! I enjoyed his performance but I hope to see him sing some country.
4. Will - I want you back
Oh he's a cutie!

But it was just an ok performance.
I agree. Just okay. I did expect Jan, Marsha, Cindy, Greg, and Bobby to come on out and sing "Sunshine Day" with him.
5. Sway - Reasons
Ouch!

This was painful! I think he made a huge mistake not showcasing his real voice. I don't understand what Randy and Paula were raving about.
I think my ears are still bleeding. Maybe I just don't like Falsettos (sp?) but take it down a but, will ya? Please let him sway his but back to where he came from.
6. Chris - Dead or Alive
HELLOOOOO CHRIS! Awesome performance. I think he looks just like Bruce Willis when he sings. Simon seemed ready to crown him American Idol...so was I.
Hot, Hot, Hot! And he sings great. Bo, there's a new rocker in town and I think he will go far. I like that he can pull off more than just rock. I can't wait to see more of him.
7. Kevin - One last cry
Better than I expected from this little guy. Is he the next Clay? I'm not a Clay fan so I don't really care.
I'm not sure on this one. While I think his voice is nice, he just doesn't fit the mold. And, to agree with someone earlier, the lisp is a bit distracting. I hope he gets one more week, though. I think he'd be great singing on a Disney soundtrack.
8. Giddeon - Shout
I did not enjoy his overly confident attitude. Really turned me off from his performance. The live audience seemed to like it but I didn't feel like the energy of his performance came across to the home audience.
In Hollywood, I didn't want him to make it. He seems to have a Kanye West, "I'm the greatest thing in the world" kind of attitude and it's actually a big turn off. But, I did like the old school song and he really played it up. I'll give him one more week.
9. Elliot - If you love me
Yes it was somewhat good but it wasn't THAT good.
I agree. It was good, but not the best ever. There's something about him that bugs me and I can't put my finger on it yet. He kind of has that Scott Savol feel to me.
10. Bobby - Copacabana
The big guy was entertaining! He's like a big disney character!

I think (and hope) that Simon's comments will get him sympathy votes because I want to see more of him.
What in the heck was that? It was just plain disturbing. How did this guy make it to the top 12? I felt like I was watching a talent show at a retirement home.
11. Ace - Father Figure
It's Constantine part 2!

But with a better voice and better googly eyes! Loved Paula's gay vote comment!

Really impressed that he thanked the back-up singers.

But is he really that nice of a guy? I almost think he's too good to be true KWIM?
I love this guy. He's oozing talent and charisma. He's a shoe in for a recording contract, but he doesn't have anything unique about him. He could be any guy on the radio today. I'll still sit up and drool every time he performs, though.
12. Taylor - Levon
I don't know what the soul patrol is but I want to join!

Great performance!!! Though I have to admit that I was expecting better after having listened to his 3 songs on the net.
My absolute favorite of the night. Having only seen him briefly on the auditions, I kept wondering what all the fuss was about. His jerky moves really creeped me out before, but now I wanna be in the Soul Patrol too!
Going home: Sway and David.
Top picks: Taylor and Chris and Ace
