I heard on tonight's show the singers have to stick to the original arrangements of the classic songs. They wont be able to change them.

If this is the case, then none of the stupid judges better comment on how someone did or did not "make the song their own".

I thought "50s night" would be boring also, but it's been the best so far. Even though I attribute that to the Barry magic.)

Chris' song was a Frank Sinatra song originally, I think. It's a boring song as it stands, but as with many Sinatra songs, IMO, they can rock with the right singer (ie., Chris!!!)

The intro to the song we're discussing is boring but once they swing into the well known part, it is truly a magnificent melody.
