You know, Queen has some really good songs.

Queen has LOTS of amazing songs, many of which would be great for showcasing a great vocalist. But oddly, some that are both well-known and would have been great for some of these contestants have been ignored tonight (e.g. "You're my Best Friend" and "Killer Queen").

I think some of these people are either too young or unknowledgable to have been able to know or pick out the really classic Queen songs, and just picked from a list or something . And Chris probably knows them all, but made a bad choice in picking out one most people are unfamiliar with. Simon was right - Chris could have created a truly classic AI moment tonight, but his song choice will surely prevent that.

I just did something I haven't done all this season....rewind Taylor's performance and watch it again. So. Much. Fun.

Anyone who wanted to do We Are the Champions was done a favor by Taylor, as it would have sounded K.A.R.A.O.K.E.

i'm sad no one did "under pressure." oh well, here's to my man elliott! i thought he & taylor were the best tonight paris sounded good, but i wasn't digging the lost boys-hillary duff gone goth look she had going on

Ace- Very surprised, I thought it's was OK.
Kellie-I'm scared.....lol. Love the outfit. I loved it!

Chris- Never heard of the song before. The song bored me, bad, bad choice.
Oh yeh Paula, Chris is better then Queen, whatever. I agreed with Simon
Katheryn Big surprise, she changed to a ballad. Shocking. Who dressed her? She looks like Blanche Devereux.
Elliot- He never heard the song before!? Nope, didn't work for me.
I'm totally confused, did it sounded different live?
Taylor- The spaz is back!
Simon is so scared that Taylor is going to win.
Somebody's drunk at that table, you be the judge. America screams out-Paula!
Paris- She has to break the habit of saying, "Hey, Come on" during a song. Especially during a song like tonight.

He keeps getting by every week I think because he has a huge fan base of people that will vote for him no matter how he does.

Exactly how it is with Kellie Pickler. But unlike with her, I am one who is part of Taylor's fan base .

I think that Chris might have chosen the song he chose because he's always being told that the doesn't do anything different. Maybe he decided that this song was really different and that would work. Did anyone hear him when he asked Simon something about him copying the song? I feel for Chris, he can't seem to please Simon no matter what he does.

i think so - it's an hour long show tomorrow night! hope i can watch it, i'll be at DBFs - he doesn't have cable, so i watch the results shows on wednesdays with him standing over the TV fussing with the rabbit ears while i try to make out the image - "is that taylor? no, it's chris. i can't see his head - move the antennae just a touch! no, too much - back, back!" becos of this, we usually only watch the last 5 minutes to see who gets kicked off. i wonder how they'll fill an hour tomorrow night?

Paris was ok - it is amazing how much she changes her looks each week.

My quick thoughts:

Bucky - Sorry, but he's only karaoke to me...that's all he ever will be.
Ace - Can't stand him, but I thought he was better than the judges. That being said, I still think he was pretty bad.
Kellie - Can't stand her either ("On paper...what's that mean?") and I don't think she was nearly as good as the judges thought. Though, I kinda liked her at the beginning of the song tonight, when she rocked out, I laughed out loud the whole time.
Chris - Liking him less and less each week. Sorry, but his rock is just becoming annoying to me. I mean, he's good, but it's not my cup of tea. Plus, the song choice stunk.
Katharine - While I have the McPheever, I wasn't burning up tonight. She sounded good at points (and, unlike many others here, I'm happy she picked a ballad), but it wasn't her best...
Elliott - I liked him. I've always liked him and he didn't disappoint tonight. Don't know this original song, but I might have to download it.
Taylor - And this showmanship is why Taylor should win. He was great tonight...put his own twists on the song and was incredibly fun to watch. After listening to the songs from his early days (from a website someone posted a few days ago), I want him to win (but my McFeever may rise before the end...).
Paris - Really liked her tonight, but I was kinda tired of her singing by the end. I guess I can only take her in small doses.

Chris has my votes all the way. He picks some bad songs but his voice is great. He did great tonight. I also liked Katherine. Not thrilled with the siong choice but she has a great voice. If I had to pick a winner,Chris. I have never been able to get a vote in for him. The line is always busy. I did get a couple in for Katherine tonight. I personally think Ace will be going home. Bottom three for me would be, Bucky,Ace, Kelli-Paris. The last two are a toss up.

I am so glad you posted that because my kids were chatting up a storm about that song being in Moulin Rouge and how she ruined it so I missed the judges comments.

My take overall tonight..better than I thought it would be...but I identify so many of those songs with my yoiunger days and can only picture the real Queen singing them that it was hard for me to really like any other singer (and I'm not even a huge Queen fan)

Bucky...made the song sound to country...it was ok, but there is something about him I just can't like.

Ace...not good, not bad...back ground singer was horrible, music was way too loud (it was too loud all night actually) I'm hoping he stays one more week...but it will be tough.

Kellie...not sure I liked it but she was way better than I thought she's be...and Kellie dear, Simon is speaking ENGLISH...not a foreign language.

Chris...didn't like it at all and I've never heard the song before...and I want whatever Paula is having cause she sounds like it's pretty good stuff!

Katharine...nice song, some off notes, I liked this song tonight.

Elliot...didn't do anything for me. This is actually one of my favorite songs by Queen (other than Under Pressure) and I was not impressed.


Taylor... I missed his mike stand mishap, but my kids said it was funny...THEY don't like Taylor.

Paris...not impressed at all, too many yeah, yeahs at one point I couldn't even hear her vocals. Ending..blah

Who is staying? Chris, Taylor, Kellie

going home? Your guess is as good as mine...I have no clue tonight.

I liked Chris and taylor tonight- though I didn't really like the actual song Chris picked, it sucked..but he sang the sucky song well LOL...Taylor was good tonight.....as for hte rest....Elliot...OH YUK YUK YUK...he KILLED that song...I actually had to turn the sound down on the TV for him at the end, I couldn't take it anymore! Ace-bad, Kellie -VERY bad. Bucky was just ok... I don't think any of them this season really stand out though.

My take, for what it's worth, and please keep in mind you didn't pay to read it.

Bucky - Nice guy. He's as far as he can go.
Ace - Stunk like old garbage. Not that bad but he was the weakest tonight, no doubt in my mind.
Kellie - I don't like her but she did a good job.
Chris - Don't like his personality but it was a good job, He's just not, well he's not an idol to me. A rocker? Yes.
Katharine - I thought the judges were dead wrong. She was really pitchy.
Elliott - I like the boy and he can sing.
Taylor - I just like him. I like everything about him. My either year old had a fit because he thinks I like Taylor more than Daddy. LOL! He's cute, in an obnoxious way.
Paris - I was shocked to bits! She was really good.

i have dialed since the get go tonight and always get thru immediately.

I liked Taylor and Chris tonight, although I agree with whoever said that Chris' song was awful.

I still can't believe that Kellie is that much of a ditz! It's just wrong, and the bit about her not having an accent was almost too much !

I missed Bucky. What song did he sing? I can't imagine any Queen song that he could sing and turn it country??

I don't care for Paris or Katharine at all...they're too prissy!

Ace and Elliot were OK, but not memorable. It was funny when Queen refused to make changes for him. He must have been embarassed.

It's too bad they didn't keep Chicken Little around. Could you imagine him rocking out to Queen?

One thing was very clear to me tonight; There are no Freddie Mercury's in this group.
