Taylor- what happened? I thought that was awful and he's usually in my top 2!

Mandisa- not my favorite, but consistent as always.

Elliot- okay but Garth is my fave so it's hard not to compare. But at least someone did a Garth song!

Paris- yuck! I thought she was very "pitchy" as they say. Her only power is in the high notes IMO.

Ace- Good Lord, I've never uttered these words before but I thought Ace was great tonight! Way better than Taylor, what a weird week.

Kellie- I have to say that she was good tonight. Not the best, but certainly not the worst either. And I'm not a fan of hers.

Chris- I was bathing kids so didn't hear much. Sounded fine though. Kind of boring.

Katharine- my personal favorite! I thought she sounded and looked beautiful and she's certainly a performer. You can't accuse her of being a deer in headlights out there...

Bukcy- Sounded okay but he didn't listen to Kenny Rogers. I found it very hard (2nd week in a row) to understand the words. I also think it doesn't help that his background music seems too loud for his voice. Just my opinion.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I thought Taylor was the worst tonight! But Paris was still bad enough I'd like to see her go home.
Ace, Katherine & Kellie might be my top 3 tonight- a real change for me.

I haven't got caught up on the new posts yet but OMG I think I caught McPheever! Cheesy I know, but wow she was great tonight!! Kellie was so good too! I was very impressed with her, she showed what she can do. The song was just perfect it all clicked.

I thought Ace did really well, along with Bucky. Those are who I voted for--Katharine, Kellie, Ace and Bucky.

Watching on TIVO right now--and it is proving as usual..country night is not a fun night on AI.

Very painful to watch.

wow, i won't be voting for bucky tonight (my man elliott needs all the votes i can give him!) but i'll be surprised if he goes home after that performance. i thought it was very touching and well done.

Me too, and I'll have wasted another night of voting. But I thought he did well! I had a hard time for about the first half hour getting through for Elliott.

Taylor- This performance really surprised me. Frankly I thought it was awful and that's so unlike Taylor.

Mandisa- Nice voice but all wrong for country. Hopefully, she'll get by.

Elliot- Decent but not super great or anything. Average for me.

Paris- Better than in recent past and better than I expected but she'd better stay out of country.

Ace- SO much better! A sensitive performance and totally unexpected.

Kellie- Good job finally. She needs to do this type of song more often.

Chris- I love that he tried something different and came off well. This will only help him in the voting I think.

Katharine- OK but nothing country about it. If she gets by this week she can flee back to her own style...quickly!

Bucky- A difficult song with too many high notes for him early. He's not good at those. However he settled down and did OK after that. Strangely, not his best.

Kellie was AWESOME--totally liked her song choice and her voice was made for that song. She has the Reba twang down!

Barf-o-rama. This is why I hate country music. This night may have been worse than last week (for me anyway, since country music is torture to my ears).

Chris was a beacon of light though! My man IS versatile, and that song was so sexy that...well...let's just say DH is a happy man tonight (lucky for me my husband's name is Kris!) That was simply beautiful. Chris I will be first in line for your album when it comes out.

Katherine was also enjoyable even though her song was bizarre.

I HATE him, but Ace did well tonight. It was actually good.

Bucky was suprisingly horrible. How could he have blown what was sure to be his night???

My prediction is the bottom 3 will be Mandisa, Paris, and Elliot. I HOPE Paris is going home.

I gave Ace a couple of votes, but most of my votes went to Taylor, Chris and Katharine. I'm really worried about Katharine since she was in the bottom 2 last week. But I have gotten almost nonstop busy signals for her, Taylor and Chris, even up until now!

Tomorrow at 9, they tell you who is voted off. Well, actually, they draw it out until 9:30.

On Wednesday night's--it was at 9pm, but I guess they changed the time b/c Unanimous (a different--and twisted--reality show) is on at 9pm.

They do a half hour---either a famouse person sings or they do a group song--then they go through each contestant and recap how they did and say ye or nay they are in the bottom 3.

Then once they have the bottom three--one is given a reprieve (the one with teh 3rd lowest votes)--then they do the pins and needles bit--calls someone's name and tell them they are going home or staying while saying the other is safe or going home.

ETA: I guess i misheard/misread--it is on at 9:30pm so AI is on at 9pm

I voted for Ace tonight. I figured he needed some help staying in this week and I really liked his song tonight.
