OK, Ace is beginning to give me the heebie jeebies. I just don't know what his musical style is because he's not that great at any one type of music.

Can we PLEASE send Bucky home this week?

If I had to pick the third lowest, it would be Paris...reluctantly.

The last 5 weeks are going to be miserable for me. It's going to hurt to lose some of these people!

He ought to whap her a good one. She ruined that song for him. Not that he still wouldn't have been phoning that performance in all the way from West Virginia itself, but at least he would have sounded a bit better.

I thought Bucky was hot, and if you know that song you would know he nailed it. Chris was awesome also, and I thought Paris sounded almost as good as Tricia Yearwood, and I really don't care for Paris.

Chris should have been the one to sing Gary Allen...he has the perfect husky voice for him. Gary Allen is hot, hot, hot..

Kellie..singing Fancy, she actually performed it well..I didn't like Reba's version, I think it's a stupid song, so I didn't actually like Kellies version, but at least she showed some spunk while singing.

Chris...GREAT

Katherine...again not my favorite Faith song..but I really liked this version and I enjoyed watching her.

Sorry but we only listen to country music around here & I know the song. I still do NOT like how Bucky sang it. I also love Tim's music & didn't like his version of that last week. It's all a matter of personal preference I guess.

Hmmm....I've tried calling for Katharine since the show stopped and have yet to get through. However, every time I can't get through for her, I try Mandisa's number and have gotten through each time...could Mandisa be heading home?

I liked Bucky tonight. I voted for him about 10 times. His line seemed easy to get through. I got one vote in for Chris. I'm going to keep trying to get more votes in for Chris. I think he did very good tonight.I really like him the best. Taylor did not do good at all with his song. My pick for the bottom three are, Bucky, Ace,and Mandisa or Katherine. I'm thinking Ace will go. I guess we will see.

Me too...it's pretty much all I have listened to since the 70's. I also did not like his Tim song last week...and there is no way Paris sounded anything like Trisha...she has one of the best voices in music...Paris does not. Again..JMO and personal preference.

I really liked Mandisa and Paris tonight but I HATED Elliot (YUK!), Ace and Bucky. I also can't stomach country music so that didn't help with listening to any of them tonight...I SO agree with Simon!!

Ok, I went through the statistics of past AI seasons, and only once did the final performer go home (Season 4, Anthony when there were only 4 singers left)

I think Bucky is safe this week. Ace or Elliot will be leaving us.

Coming in late tonight, watched on Tivo

Taylor- Really weak and flat. Agree with Simon it was boring and lazy. I feel like he just wrote the week off and didn't even try.

Mandisa- Love that song. She did a decent job, the beginning wasn't good but it got better towards the end. I admire her self confidence!

Loved Simon's dig at Ryan. I agree Ryan, lose the beard.

Elliot- I thought he did a great job, made it his own too.

Paula's drunk again, but a funny drunk.

Paris- Fantastic! First week I've liked Paris. Great job and she looked really cute too, loved the hair!!

What??? what was up with Paula and Randy's comments???? Simon's showing his age with the Dionne Warrick commnt. lol

Ace- I had never heard of that song before, I really liked it. Great job!

Kellie- Perfect song choice for her, I loved it.

Chris-Tough song, cause Keith Urban's version is HOT. I was impressed with the "softer side" of Chris, I liked it much better then his rock side.

Katheryn- I really don't like her, she comes off so fake and incredibly cocky. It's like I have no clue who the real Katheryn is and at this point I don't care anymore.

Bucky- Wow, I'm so disappointed in his song choice. He could've owned this week. It was OK but I expected so much more.

Well I didn't think anyone did horrible this week. But I wasn't that interested in most of the song choices, but I guess that's just because I've never liked country. I just don't understand why it has to be the one theme they do every year. But anyways, this is what I thought of the performances:

Taylor: I'm so upset I missed him!! I work at an animal shelter Tuesday and Friday nights, and they don't close until 8:00, so I always seem to walk in my house right as the first person is finishing. From what I've read it seems like he just wasn't as good as usual. That's ok, I'm sure he's not going anywhere.

Mandisa: I don't think this was her best performance. For some reason, she doesn't seem to do as well when she sings in her lower range, and that's what most of the song was.

Elliot: I thought he did pretty well. I thought he did a lot better than last week, but it wasn't his best performance either.

Paris: She started off a little shaky, and it also seemed like she was shaky throughout parts of the song. It wasn't a bad performance, but again it wasn't her best. I thought she did a lot better last week.

Ace: I think this is the first week I don't think he should be in the bottom 3! I liked him from the beginning, but I've been liking him less the past few weeks. Tonight I thought he was great!

Kellie: I'm not surprised that she was one of the best tonight. I really enjoyed her performance and it shows that country is what she does best.

Chris: I was so excited to see him do something different! I was a little worried at first, but he really pulled it off! I know Simon thought his choice of song was boring, but it was nice to see a different side of him.

Katharine: I know a lot of people don't like her, but I thought she was the best tonight! I really think she should be at least top 3, and I just don't understand what people don't like about her.

Bucky: I think it's his turn to leave. While he wasn't horrible, he wasn't all that great either. Since country is his genre, he really should have outperformed everyone this week, and IMO he didn't.

I don't get it either. I'm thinking that it's the jazz genre that is her forte that is off-putting to some. Her movements and her facial expressions seem absolutely perfect for the jazz spins she puts on her songs, but I think people could read them as cocky. I disagree whole-heartedly. She's my favorite in this group, especially since Taylor's been lackluster these past two weeks. Of course, since she's my favorite, that means she'll probably be gone in two weeks (my favorite never seems to make it past (or into) the Top Five.
