He is in the competition because he can sing. It's fine if you don't like him or his singing. But he can sing.

I thought she was great! She was worried about being compared to to current artists...and then Randy could find nothing better to do than compare her to Ella Fitzgerald. I think the judges are seriously lacking in brain cells tonight. Between the three of them they can't come up with one single coherent, intelligent statement. Kat does a fabulous job with those jazzy, bluesy songs. And if Micheal Buble can make a career out of singing old standards...why can't Kat. Michael Buble sold out in one day here. I think she's great and she's getting my votes tonight!
