Oh my gosh! I wouldn't have even known that was her! How old is she? That first picture she looks totally different! I love the cut...but she just looks much older...

Yes, it is he was released from Prison. She does look a LOT older....

I'm not so sure about the short hair. I think I liked it better long too.

I like Kellie's shorter hair. Maybe she's hoping with a more sophisticated image, people will forget all her ditzy comments in the past.

So we're down to the final four, I still like Elliott best. I love his voice. I also like Chris' voice, although, he really seems like he is straining it. Katherine, she's pretty good, but I have never voted for her. She also seems ditzy to me, and something about when she slips from her lower register into her higher register makes me not enjoy her singing very much. It should be a more seemless transition, instead it is very obvious when she switches. I did love when she sang "Think". Taylor has a great personality but I don't enjoy his singing. If you aren't watching him perform and have to just listen to him, for me, it's just not appealing. Therefore, I wouldn't purchase an album of his. I would buy one of Elliott's and possibly Chris'.

Hey Damo -- I just now finally clicked on Kalan Porter and - wow! What has happened to him? He's amazing!

As a sidenote, I hope he got a makeover, though, because all this time I've been thinking he was a kind of ugly woman!!!!

My own, personal, utterly correct look at the final four, from worst to first:

Elliott - Ok, I've made it clear that I am not a fan. But I've gone back and listened to the mp3's of some of Elliott's performances...and yeah, still not a fan. I don't think he's even close to being in the same class as the final five, let alone the other members of the final four. Chances of my buying an album of his: 0.0%

Chris - His performance of Brian Adams' "Have you ever really loved a woman" was among the best of the season, but the Creed thing just about lost it for me. He's very similar to many singers out there right now, which is either a good thing or a bad, depending on how you look at it. With the right music, he could certainly be great. But with the wrong choice, he could be no more than a poor man's Scott Stapp. Chances of my buying an album of his: 40%

Katherine - Golden pipes and drop dead gorgeous, so why isn't she my #1 pick? Because she needs a good producer to work with, or she could get locked into being a poor Kelly Clarkson imitation. Still, she's got - in my oh-so-utterly-correct opinion - the best voice of the bunch, when she's "on". Chances of my buying an album of hers: 50%, depending on what kind of music she puts out.

Taylor - Ah, Taylor...It seems you either love this guy or you can't stand him. I'm firmly on the side of loving him with his "Michael McDonald-meets-Ray Charles" voice and mannerisms and "love child of Jay Leno and George Clooney" look. The guy's a blast to watch perform, and sorry, but I've got several of the mp3's of his performances (and previous recordings) and absolutely love listening to him. Add in the fact that he's the only real original in the group, and I think he deserves to win more than any of the others. Chances of my buying an album of his: 90% (they'd have to really screw it up to make me not buy it).

Completely agree. The chances of me buying his album are 100% considering I've already bought "Under the Radar". The first time in a looong time that I've actually bought a CD.

Haven't posted in a VERY long time so I'm very behind on the thread (oh college ) so forgive me for not reading the hundreds of posts but here's my take on the final four:

Taylor: I love watching him, but I feel that his style of music is too old fashioned for today's marketable audience. If he won I don't think they'd know what to do with him....that being said I doubt I'd buy his album

Katherine: I'm not too wild about her....I think she sings songs that are WAY too big for her voice. Wouldn't buy her album

Elliot: I like him, but I feel he has the least personality out of the three guys left. Good voice, but eh, not all that crazy about him.

Chris: I LOVE HIM. Maybe that's why I can't fully get behind the other three, I love Chris, everything about him, his voice, his look, he's amazing. Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman, had me SWOONING! I would definitely buy his album!

My predictions for winner: Katherine or Chris. Just a hunch

I see C, K, and T doing really well Tuesday. I can't see Elliot pulling this off quite as well. However, this is the part of the whole competition that I really enjoy because the final 4 tend to just overflow with confidence, which really brings out the best in every one of them. From this point forward, the show is just a whole lot of fun.

He's making his second album and it should be out this summer. It will be promoted in the US so watch for it.

Hmmmm, never saw Kalan as an ugly woman but to each his own!!!

Beard is ok, but I'm not liking that slicked back hair!

I'm with you! I think there I really like Elliot, and can see him singing some of Elvis love songs. I am also indulging my imagination because I keep thinking of Taylor and "All Shook Up" .
