AI deals with just about all genres EXCEPT hip hop and opera (thank you God) but they know what makes the money. I KNOW the deal, unfortunately it's my business to know.

Only Jordin have I heard on the radio. Granted we don't have a "true" top 40 station here..... Even here, I don't hear Fantasia played on the radio and she's LOCAL.

I'll listen to hip-hop but NOT opera (sounds like they should be put out of their misery! )

That was a good year for talent. I thought either La Toya or Jennifer should have won. But Jennifer didn't fit their Idol look. Bet she does now.

Ok...now I remember LaToya. I like her better than Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson..and definitely more than Diana Degarmo..or however you spell her last name. At first I was picturing Nadia from season 4 in my head and knew that wasn't right.

Diana was from a neighborhood close to here and I got soooo sick of her that year. And Jasmine was kept on WAY past her time because of her large Hawaiian and Filipino following.. she was NOT that good.

I hear Jordin once in a while. Ruben haven't heard in ages, but I always likes his voice.

I think he's probably a really nice guy, but he wouldn't have won even if he stayed on because his voice range is too limited. Granted, I don't some of the other should have stayed either.
