On the other hand, I ONLY hear Fantasia, Ruben and Jordin on MY radio. Never heard the Georgia Peach or any of the last 4 winners, I guess it depends on what you're into and where you hang, right?

Mine's mainly pop, rock, alternative. Some hip-hop. I do like a variety but I wish there was ONE station that did that..... Other than our so-called "we play everything" but really don't station.

There aren't as many people here either. Lost a couple of chatty people over the last few seasons...and not so much off topic chatter going during the show now. I know I go and play games during commercials instead of posting here to kill time.

A little off topic (and because I never give up) but regarding the comments about Idol contestants who you actually hear on the radio, I occasionally hear Paul McDonald from last year on my favorite station. They play songs from when he was with High Tide Blues or the Grand Magnolias. Good stuff. I admit though that the typical AI viewer doesn't get this type of music. The best the show could do last year was to try and make him into a Rod Stewart retread.

By the way, I always have to thank Mandy on this thread for telling me to check out Nashville station Lightning 100. You can can listen to them online if you want to hear some fantastic new artists. The music they play is usually fantastic and thankfully different from what is played on Top 40.

I do think Jessica did great, but she didn't make me cry like Jennifer Hudson did when she sang that song during the Grammy's. Now THAT made me cry.

same here, but I think J. Hudson go to me more as I was thinking about her own trajic loss a few years back. I just kept thinking, she HAS to be hurting thru that again with this song.

She has lost the deer in the headlights look. Looks like she's slimmed down too.
I think she is so cute..and she's touring with good ones!

Looked like she received the Carrie Underwood makeover to me. Much blonder, no cowboy boots, , slimmed down a lot. Yes, she is on a great tour. She looked like she was enjoying being on stage !

I give up because the boards usually end up going so S-L-O-W! I also used to watch our small kitchen tv and type from our on the desk...this year I have migrated to the couch, lol....old eyes need the bigger screen, and the sound was so off I needed the surround sound just to try and hear them.

I thought JLo was gonna fight hard to keep Jeremy too, but maybe she didn't want to prolong the inevitible for the guy. Did you hear her say the wrong 2 were in the bottom to Randy? I get the feeling Shannon has a target on her back now.
