Mine too! My DH has been putting in some long hours and this was the first show this season that he was able to hit the couch and watch it...only to have it be a show without any singing happen! Toal bummer. We do record it but prefer watching it live. Oh well, taught us a lesson to not revolve our evening around a tv show.

I don't like the contemporary style at all. My favorite area is Boardwalk and I own at SSR. I have no desire for AKL either..too dark for me.

Then you've never watched the fireworks from the comfort of your (modern) room. (see the picture in my signature)

Though I do understand, so many people love Wilderness Lodge and I hated them. Too rustic and crowded for me. I'm debating adding on at GF because I love owning on the monorail, but I'm not a huge fan of the GF style. BLT is my style to the T. We own BLT and SSR.

We were hoping they'd nix the group thing this year it's our least favorite.
Then to have a whole show of just group anxiety and no singing made for the
worst AI episode ever.

I like the GF but I think it is going to priced a bit too steep for me, especially when dealing with someone who just doesn't get the whole Mickey thing.

LOL...because my man is holding me back...and well..just got off topic a bit.

I don't mind the groups..but last night was not good and was more about showing who was sick. The only thing that ever surprises me with the groups are how many don't know the words. Usually the songs are pretty popular ones and even I know the lyrics.

Probably because American Idol turned into a non-singing show. We always tend to go off topic on this thread (though is Disney talk on a Disney board off topic in an off Disney topic thread? Hmm)

I feel like Idol is trying too hard to create drama with all the sick people and the drama of the groups without the fun of the singing.
