American Idol: Season 10 PART III

My James votes went to Lauren as well. Matter of fact, it would not surprise me in the least that the Zeplin song ws already decided upon for James and once he was voted off they had to *re-offer* it to another contestant. So, like that is going to be Scotty? LZ like a ton of other bands and artists want their stuff to be put out there on Idol. James kicked it off nicely this season by doing justice to a lot of the songs. Sure, I bet it could have been pulled and Haley done something else, but you could tell she was in no way going to attempt anything rock or metal while James was still there,and now she had her chance. She goes all season as having an undefined style, and now after last night is being put in the rocker category? Ahhhhh James, your friend just boosted your career. I still think the country vote was divided, but Nigel will see how many votes total Lauren and Scotty got and that is going to put a huge smile on his face for his upcoming Country venture.

We've had an agreed upon "rule" about DialIdol results on this thread from day one. Whether they're right or wrong now shouldn't matter.

Is there a list of the thread rules? I seem to have missed them and perhaps others have too.

so getting my votes in...Jimmy, why did you pick Alanis' gut wrenching song for Haley to butcher? Let's see, use the heartstring of having her dad be on stage, go for a modeling shoot to distract your lack of knowing the song or lyrics,,, trot around to the back of the judges hoping they can't see you fudge your way thru lyrics ( again)...none of them came across as stellar. yawn. Oh well, it is prom season so Laurens 3rd dress was finally nice, and Scotty's boots were pretty sweet for his 3rd song. As for Idol, can anyone say "Jump The Shark?"

I'm telling you, she just gives off that vibe. He hasn't seen /heard the show all season due to sports....I told him I'd rewind for him to see the show but he was less than interested.

If EVER there was a contestant to command the bloopers of Idol it is Faily-Haley, lol....let's see, she has given America the lipstick face, butt slide, snake hiss, temper tantrum at Randy, fall...and that's off the top of my head.

I think your hatred for Haley is really clouding your judgment and credibility. Some of these wild theories are a stretch, even after some pretty outrageous statements you've made. It's like you are grasping at something, anything, to throw out there and hope it sticks. How can you possibly claim to know what she is thinking and feeling? Or who came to who with what song? Do you really believe the things you are spewing? She is not an axe murderer, for God's sake. And I mean all of this in no way to attack you as a person. I am just trying to figure out for the life of me where all this anger comes from. I've never told anyone on here to move along or stop coming to the thread. We can all say what we want, of course, but I am just wondering if perhaps now that some of the others have eased up on the Haley bashing you are ramping yours up.

Congrats to you and your DS! What did he earn his degree in? My DS graduated in December in English. Still waiting to see what he wants to do with his life.

why I'm flattered you took the time to round up some of my posts this season..my judgement isn't clouded, not angry, not grasping at anything. She keeps giving the veiwing public stuff to comment on. The comparison to an ax murderer never entered my mind, though I guess it did yours, chill out. I have never told anyone to move along either.My credibility? Ummm, other than my theory on the LZ tune,( and I stated woudln't surprise me if..wasn't claiming it as fact...) are you saying the items you bolded didn't happen? out the general Idol threads all over the place...geez, her fall was the headliner of AOL today. I suppose that didn't happen either? Have you seen the image VFTW has of her? Not my work, but pretty funny.I would think you would be thrilled with all the publicity she is receiving. Perhaps you should go thru all the seasons threads on AI, take note of all the times folks have posted about the contestants they like, dislike...for every anti Haley post there is one for another contestant somewhere. Lighten up..and why is it so personal to you anyway, what I post? I, my friend get a kick out of how full of herself she is, whe in the big picture she is a minnow. You appear to have the anger in you, not me. Actually not sure why you feel the need to post to me directly about defending her? It appears as if you have time to go thru the thread counting how many anti- Haley posts were made,especially by me. That's kinda well, creepy.( and I mean that in no way to attack you as a person) Maybe you have a quest to convert people to like her or something?
To each his own. I have not analyzed your posts, questioned your right to have an opinion, I would appreciate the same respect. You need to find something better to do with your time than try and analyze a fellow poster on a message board.

ETA: I see you joined the boards under a year ago....( gonna go out on a limb here ) on this board anyway, you have not been involved in Idol thread in the past, at least under yout T*Bird name. THAT clarifies for me your newbie take on how the thread and posts about contestants can go.

I've seen bits of Scotty's on our local FOX affiliate. He flipped out when Josh Turner walked onstage. Not as dramatic of a "flip-out" that James had with Hulk Hogan.

Sports are more important, IMO. My nephew would still be playing had he kept the grades up.

and...did anyone else notice that Haley was the only one NOT surrounded by adoring fans when she announced her judge's pick? My girls thought that was odd. I said maybe it's just that's when she happened to get the text, but smarties that they are, they said the producers could have easily arranged it during some kind of event like the other 2. Curiouser and curiouser.
