I don't ever vote either (I genuinely think it's a guy thing...). Like your husband, I was won over by her Rhiannon tonight. Admittedly, I threw a couple votes her way last week, too. That said, I can't power vote like the teenyboppers.

T*Bird, it's highlighted as to not be a spoiler.... maybe edit your post to remove the name of the song for those who don't want to know If anyone knows who Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are...Haley needs to go that route, and LISTEN to how to not kill everything with a growl. I have no idea honestly how any of them are going to fare tonight, It's like watching paint dry at this point. I love that James is getting so much PR...I don't remember any of the others from this season getting as much after they were booted...Pia maybe, but that was partially due to her hook up with Mark Ballas.

I had to chuckle at you quoting a post with a spoiler in it and telling the poster to take out the spoiler. I don't think it was really a spoiler anyways, but I know some people really don't want to know anything in advance.

Lauren gave us sniffles, dead eyes and a complete line up of Toddlers and Tiara's dresses.

Scotty - Safe with a capital "S". I thought he did a good job with each of his songs. I'm not a fan of country music, but he didn't seem to have any gaffs.

Lauren - I thought she did a nice job, too. I didn't notice her "mistake" in the second song (I think it was the second song!) that the judges pointed out. I actually didn't like "I Hope You Dance" as much as her other two.

Haley - Haley has really come into her own recently. Thank goodness she got to pick one of her songs, because I didn't like either of the choices from the judges/Jimmy. I thought she was great on the first one, which I was not at all familiar with. "Rhiannon" was OK, not great, and the same with "You Ought To Know". She nailed the chorus, though.

If I had to guess between the 2 girls, I would maybeeee say Lauren is going, but I think it's going to be very close.

I don't even care who wins anymore, now it is just a matter of who screws up the Idol song they write for the final 2 to sing...if they do that hokey deal again. Honestly, to me..none of them seemed to really care if they win or not either...it was like watching them sing a concert at the mall.

I'm glad I don't really watch the show other than to glance at it now and then to see what they are wearing. ..so all those things that people make fun of I don't know about...unless it was during a part where I was actually looking at the screen.

I also think the judges purposefully named each of the 3 the winner of a round. Haley obviously won Round 1, getting the only standing O of the night from the judges. So then they gave Scotty and Lauren each a win, too; however, I think they gave Lauren a freebie because I don't think she was the best in any round. Not bad, but not the best. I think they wanted to take out any chance of voter revenge.

I've never voted before either, voting for Haley as well. Lauren is nice with a good voice, but boring. Scotty is really a one trick pony, and while he didn't embarass himself with the high choruses tonight, they weren't particularly good. Haley is just good no matter what or where she sings.

We were able to get in 70 votes for Haley. 50 were for us and the other 20 were for Robinrs I know she would want it that way

Yep, after Haley's dad played during her song, they had to let the other parents have some air time, too. Notice they didn't talk to Haley's parents in the audience. That was so people couldn't cry foul that Haley got special treatment (which I have already read on here).
