I'm sorry to see James go. I really believe they're pulling for a female winner now.

That's what I've thought since Haley wasn't kicked off weeks ago.

Seriously though, the guy is very talented and will do fine. I hear more from the non-winners than the Idols. I just think they tend to be better off NOT coming in 1st.

I'm glad he's gone only because I hate how the Judges (and show) sway things to who they want to win.
He'll do just fine and is probably better off not being tied to an Idol contract.

I don't care for Scotty's mike holding either. Mostly I'm more focused visually on the computer and primarily listen to Idol.

Saying, James Durbin held a knife to a child's throat.

Edited to Update: It looks like James's ex-stepdad sold Star Magazine a story saying that James had episodes of uncontrollabe rage as a kid. He used to threaten suicide and hold a knife to his own throat and his 8 year old stepbrother. Sounds like a messed up kid, but isn't it kind of irresponsible to suggest on the cover that James is currently holding knives to kids' throats?

Next week will be interesting. Just really surprised Scotty has done so well. Everything he does just blends to me it all sounds the same. I guess not liking country music makes it seem that way. Haley has improved greatly and knows what she needs to do and is doing it. I don't care for her attitude though. So that leaves lauren as my guess for winner.

I only muted when he started to screech. Sometimes that was sooner than other times. 1 song not at all and I actually voted a few times for him that week.
