I had no idea she was only 4 years younger than me.

I pictured her being no more than 35. But I guess I'm trapped ina time warp!

She looks AMAZING for 41. That cat suit in the video! OH MY! I'm jealous.

To me a Manuel means your serious about the business or you have a lot of money. I haven't followed that closely but Manuel has to be getting old. Has his son taken over his business?

Lauren was definitely robbed. Its too bad because she didnt really get any film coverage and probably many didnt know who she was.

The judges could have fixed that!

She is probably sitting there thinking what the heck did I do wrong? They told me I was great last night. America didnt vote me in and then the judges who thought I was so great last night didnt even give me a wild card chance?

I feel really bad for her. Shoulda been her before Ashton or Naima and for that matter, Karen or Haley.

And as a previous poster said I did notice not a super warm reception when Ashton was put through from the other singers. Not surprised. She thinks she is all that and is probably not a very nice girl.

I totally agree. Naima was terrible last night, and the night before. She didn't even sing on key. I didn't like the 3 wildcards at all.

I agree about the TV time. Those who have been featured will be voted in, those w/little tv time will be missed.

had something pop up last night , didn't see the show until laaaaaaate...but Laurent T...Karen was given your spot and what a mistake that is! Naima, I like her, but feel she is better than Karen too, overall. I'm afraid Lauren's "Watch out America, I'm sarcastic" may have hurt her some...the whole "feel good" season the judges are after...I feel affected her wild card chances, but she should have been in ahead of that anyway. Certainly ahead of Ashton! Off to read all your posts from last night!

Ashton gave the PC answer of "feel the love" when Ryan spoke to her right before decisions , Lauren T said" Watch out America I'm sarcastic." after she sang last light, when Ryan and Randy were telling her to let more of herself come thru. The judges are all over the happy happy joy joy this season. Also, they want $ makers for selling tickets on tour.

When Lauren A and Pia were waiting for the results you could just see in Lauren's face that she didn't think she made it through because Pia is so good. I am glad they both made it. I still think Lauren is in for final 2.

Paul is just fun. He reminds us of Kenny Loggins!!

yuk, I don't care for Latina Barbie...

I liked her audition, but that was it. She is irritating playing the Latina card over and over..no one else is verbally "in your face" doing the heritage thing. I hope she doesn't last, she and Ashton can be a dual elimination for me. Laurent T....America got it wrong.

I agree that out of all those who didn't make it, Lauren T deserved it most. It really makes no sense to me that they didn't give her a second chance. Out of all the girls left, she clearly got the most praise from the judges. So why wouldn't they let her sing again?

I voted for her, but I'm afraid she fell victim to not getting enough coverage ahead of time. Out of all the girls, she's the only one I don't remember at all! All the rest of the girls I remember from their original auditions or from some point in Hollywood. The first time I remember seeing Lauren is when they told her she made it to the top 24.

Anyways, I think the girls are pretty weak this year. I would get rid of Karen, Hailey, and Asthon first to make the top 10. But I have a feeling Karen will probably stick around for awhile because she'll get the Latina vote.

I know this has probably been discussed.... I didn't get to watch the show last night on time. But I really don't like the new format. So we are done from 24 for 13 in one week... really? And is that it for wild cards this season?

My fingers are going to HURT next week when I have to call for all 12 of the other contestants in hopes of seeing Ashton GONE! I can't even stand to listen to her because of the attitude. I'm not sure why Randy wants to shove that down our throats... drama??? I guess??? Annoying!

When they lined up the potential wild cards I pretty much said, just skip the wild cards because they aren't worth it. I figure though, it gives the show a couple extra weeks of voting off to drag out the suspension (and viewership) before they get to cutting good singers.
