I used to be TOO skinny. When I graduated high school I weighed about 105 pounds...and I was (and still am) almost 5'7". My metabolism was crazy back then.

It looks like David Cook, 25, is also a winner in the game of love. Former idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell has been a fan of his from the start - and she's made no secret of it on Idol Tonight, the TV Guide Channel series she hosts. Now the two are an item and we have a little American idol romance going on with the two idol alums.

According to a report from in Touch Weekly David let Kimberly know that the feeling was mutual by presenting her with flowers and a dinner invitation on the pre-finale show. "I was surprised he did that on the air," Kimberly, 26, tells In Touch. "David obviously knows how to treat a girl."

It appears that David Cook might be the best ambassador for the show in some time and as the season unfolded this year and with viewership down, he might not only be just what the doctor ordered for Kimberly, but for American idol as well.

The couple went out on their date to LA's Ruth's Chris Steak House on May 24. "They laughed all night and were openly affectionate," an onlooker spilled to the weekly entertainment magazine. For now, the two are taking things slowly. But David tells In Touch, "I like confident women who are supportive." Sounds like Kimberly fits the bill.

It looks great!!! DH and I built our house BEFORE we got married...people were amazed that we still went through with the wedding after that! But my DH is very easygoing, he let me pick whatever I wanted.

I like how your tile and coutertops go together. What color appliances are y'all going with?

I love those color of cabinets. We didn't have that as an option though. What kind of wood is it anyway? Ours are maple.

We went with stainless steel appliances.

I can tell you're a Disney fan...haha. Very cute.

My hubby likes black appliances and darker stuff like that. But I've always been a huge fan of brown tones. So I guess I won because we have a lot of shades of brown (countertops, wall color, etc.) Although our door hardware and light fixtures are dark so at least he got those...haha.

Our cabinets are maple too, but they're natural, no stain. My dad builds cabinets professionally, so we got to choose whatever wood we wanted. I like the contrast between the light wood/dark appliances.

I was going to say that stainless would look good in your kitchen. I like that you have an island, too. I really wanted one but there wasn't enough room. You also have plenty of outlets...you can never have too many places to plug things in!! That's one thing I've learned building a house.

I also was too skinny in high school. I was 5' 11" and weighed 125. Now, 2 kids and many years later, I weigh much more than that. I never want to be that thin again, but I'd love to get back down to my college weight.

Very nice! What color will your appliances be? I really love all that space. We have what is called a "galley" kitchen. Which is a nice way to say long and thin. We can only fit 2 people in there at a time without bumping into each other. I'm hoping to expand it one day. Or move.

I watched Best Week Ever last night and was gonna post it! Should've known you DC.....ahem......fans would've already posted it! That was some funny stuff. Really is there anything DC can't do? I'm wanting more and more to go the AI concert just so I can see him. But seeing the rest (besides MJ), ugh, I don't know if I could sit thru it.

Yeah...I wouldn't want to weigh 105 again. But 125 or 130 would be nice. That's what I was about a year ago and I think I could be happy with that.
