Not sure if he ever really dated Lacey. In her update bulletin on myspace today (yes, I was/am a fan of Lacey) she mentioned that she is NOT dating Cook. No kidding, Lacey...he's with Kim.

She talked to a reporter (blogger maybe?) about hanging out with him a few times. Mabye things might have gone differently if it weren't for her commenting on Adam and KC entering the picture. (probably around the same time)

First came up the idea of an idol each season for each gender. While the camera was on the two Davids you can hear Brooke say "Well then the girls would have had a chance this year" and it sounds like Carly says 'yeah" -- camera pulls pack and Brooke is LAUGHING. No pouting. AT ALL.

Then KLC says "Guys have it a lot easier though because girls go crazy over guys -- oh c'mon you know it"

Then Syesha mentioned daily deliveries of cookies and balloons, Brooke mentioned a stack of mail, and Carly the 50 baskets.

So again why is BROOKE the bad guy? Are you getting KLC and Brooke mixed up???

My take was that they were just harassing the guys more than complaining. The interview was very relaxed and I bet they have all had that conversation with the guys when they were just hanging out.

....I am SOOOO agry ...on the way to upstate NY this weekend, a deejay on Sirius Satellite said how he would NEVER play a David Cook song on HIS radio.... THE NERVE! (it was channel 20 - 'Octane' ) ...he also said that he'd MAYBE play Daughtry cuz' HE didn't actually WIN AI...

Is he a sore loser who tried out and didn't even get past the "cattle call"....? Whotta jerk!

I watched Ellen today and the youtube of Reeg and Kelly.

Anyway, my favorite interview of them all was Leno.

I also think if we didn't have the "fake" date set up and then the tip off to the paparazzi at the restaurant, then the Q&A with Regis about KC would've been a good way to kind of ease into the whole thing.

I just think announcing it the way they did on the red carpet was a minor PR glitch. It is so obvious(if you read any of the other AI forums) they've had a private friendship developing for quite some time. Methinks they(DC) said they would hide it until the show was over but then they weren't going to keep it that way any longer. I can't blame them for wanting to be able to hang out together in the open, but whoever DC ends up signing with to record his album will probably tell him not to flaunt it even though they can no longer keep it on the dl. My only problem with the whole thing is that they should've waited until the media blitz to put it out there. (maybe someone, TMZ had the scoop though???)

Even though I am a little sad that we won't get to see the David Cook show tonight, I am looking forward to the tour and his first CD.

She is a lot more average looking than I originally thought. Makeup really can do wonders, especially if you have pros applying it.

I'm still here and reading. Had a boring weekend really. I got some rough news about my 9 year old cousin who is developmentally delayed and autistic being hospitialized trying to stablize her rage. I spent quite a bit of time crying in private places so my dd's didn't see.

I did listen to the radio stations that play "pop"/ up to date music (which I hate) hoping to hear DC. I didn't.

It sucks that it's Tuesday and there is no Idol on. Grr. Everything stinks.

I've also been playing the radio and not playing my usual station hoping to catch me some DC, so far nothing.

LOVED the comments. The ones over on TMZ were even better. I guess Kim was arrested after failing a field sobriety test a while back. And there are lots of unflattering rumors about her with two OTHER AI contestants (that would be four AI guys for those of you keeping count!) They might be untrue but you have to ask why this stuff follows HER around and not someone with CLASS like Melinda or even someone like McPhee. Hmmmm.

It is amazing to me just how much less attractive I think he is now. I still enjoy his music and I'll certainly follow his career, but to me he has just become another rock star with a bimbo on his arm. My crush has officially ended.

There was quite a bit of sarcasm in her voice. I strongly, STRONGLY doubt she'd make a comment like that in front of everybody. Judging by their reaction to her there were most definitely some inside stuff there since they all started cracking jokes when she made the comment. She was trying to make a joke about the cookies and flowers that were being sent but by the time she got to it everybody was talking all over each other. She was still smiling in the end which pretty much indicated to me that she was more amused than annoyed by it. I think she was advocating on behalf of Carly and Syesha. She never claimed to be one of the best singers.

They have to select an even number of boys and girls to perform on the show. Unfortunately they got a fantastic group of guys and the ladies had three anchors in the form of Amanda, Ramiele, and The Colonel. They didn't stand a chance even if they were better singers (Carly/Syesha) than the guys.

This season's outcome was influenced by the rabid female fans out there. Don't believe me? How many times did you ladies vote for DC? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Ok, I love DC. LOVE him. He's great. But...

that boy DOES have a huge head! I've said it out loud every single week since Top 24. I'd poke my DBF and say "Look! Cook's head is huge! I bet his neck gets sore."

Doesn't mean I don't love him. Doesn't mean that I don't think that he's wicked handsome. I certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers.

But that is a huge melon hanging out on his shoulders!
