Amazon deliveries

I have had them put packages in odd places before. But normally it was too be nice, I think anyways. I found one in my garage when I left the door open because it was sprinkling out. Behind random things to hide them. But once I found one NEXT to my mailbox near the street. So obviously the delivery person was too lazy to bring it to the door... luckily it wasn't stolen. USPS is a different story though, I have an extremely crappy mailman. A few times I watched him drive up, then keep going only to be alerted that no one answered the door...

I have to admit our Amazon Driver is a little over the top. If we are working in the yard and he drives by he ALWAYS waves and honks his horn. And if we are out working in the yard and he has a delivery for us, he always says "thank you, because of you I have a job"
I don’t think I have ever seen the same Amazon delivery person in my neighborhood. There are often 5 or more vans in the neighborhood delivering at the same time.

Amazon used to deliver properly, and ring. Not lately.
I've had them put packages on the porch, in my garden, by the garage, UNDER my mailbox (on the other side of the street).. :scared1: :confused3.

At least they get them here -- FedEx, on the other hand, constantly delivers my stuff to anybody BUT me.
I'm the opposite. I've never had a delivery by an Amazon van, always FedEx. I don't order much but once or twice a year though.

Neighbors however, I received over 20 deliveries around Christmas time destined to other neighbors. Even came home to find a box of chocolates with a note saying "So sorry! I called, and they said it won't happen any more." Fantastic I thought as I opened the front door and find a package for another neighbor on my front road."

And of course, after 2 phone calls from the neighbor, 2 phone calls from me, and 4 drivers I stopped on the road to tell them this isn't the house, I had 7-8 more deliveries.

For years now everything has been left at the front door. Some years back one was left in front of a garage door and a vehicle backing out did damage it. Also knew someone who had one left under a picnic table in the back yard and luckily they happened to notice it days later. Those were all pre-Amazon though. I think it was UPS.

Amazon, UPS, and USPS are great and have no problem putting my packages at a door. I’m lucky if packages from Fedex make it into the driveway.

I buy an embarassing amount of stuff on Amazon. If the garage door is closed, the package makes it to the steps
If the garage door is open though, I have had them put it in there, often times right being the tire of my car, where I can't see it. I haven't yet run anything over but it's only a matter of time.

I'm sure we have others, but this guy sure stands out.

In our townhome community, FedEx and UPS deliver to the garage, Amazon and USPS to the front door. I usually get an email from Amazon as soon as my package is delivered, sometimes from UPS. Our mail carrier usually rings the door bell, but also we get pacakages in our mailbox for our neighbors frequently.

We got a delivery today that was actually several days early. Amazing. It cost over $200 so it would have been nice if they'd rung the door bell, but we found it before any porch pirates got to it.
