I was just wondering, when and if the Weavers get eliminated---
What are you guys going to talk about???
:confused3

Because every page on this thread is full of Weaver-bashing.....

We will talk about the current episode as we are presently doing :confused3 .

But only about what the Weavers did, said, how they dressed, how they cried, how they complained, how they did this, that and the other thing in this episode!!

Well, we don't like the Weavers. I loved ROMBER, and everyone complained about them. And then I realized it was a tv show, it doesn't really matter, they aren't going to share any money with me, and I stopped taking it so seriously. :teeth:

Let me say that I am TOTALLY NOT trying to start anything by asking this, I really want to know the answer. I was wondering why those of you who commented on the 'hoochie outfits' are saying that they are inappropriate because of the bodies of the Weaver girls? Someone even commented that the Godlewski and Bransen girls weren't dressing hoochie, but that they have the bodies to do so if they wished. Since when is inappropriate dress inappropriate because of your body size and not because it's just sleazy :confused3

It's the editing! :teeth:

Same thing happened last season with Romber.

I don't understand the problem of chastising posters for discussing an episode when we are merely posting and discuss what went on during the episode.

Did anything they did last night--not disappoint you? Anything that made you want to say--way to go Christian sister...now that's a good Christian?

Pretty hard to say something positive about them when they are giving us so little to work with.

Then we will bash the next most annoying team. That's what is always done and will continue to be done. This is reality tv and it is meant to provoke our emotions. It is all about ratings. Every time the show is talked about on a message board, another few people will watch. CBS would be thrilled.

It just happens that Ladycollector had to put her 2 cents into it.

Yes, and as this is a discussion board for sharing opinions, I will continue to put my 2 cents in. You don't have a problem doing so.

Shall I prepare a tab!

Gotta work on my tip. :teeth:

First, let me say that I am NOT going to bash the Weavers. I actually feel somewhat sorry for the young people. I don't think they have had much socialization with others, based on the comment about only trusting family and God. They have been raised with beliefs that differ from the Christian mainstream, but are led to believe that they are Christian and no one else likes them because of it.

It is sad to see how they interpret gestures of kindness as meaness. I don't know how they got interested in being on TAR, they obviously have TV to even know about it.

I hope they find some happiness in their lives.

We all put our 2 cents in. I was telling Lisa where your post came from. I thought she was talking about your posts not being nasty. It would be nice if we could all put our 2 cents in though without having someone make snide remarks about our choices. It seems as though it always happens on these reality threads. You don't agree with someone and you start making rude comments asking what planet you live. You in the GENERAL sense.

In a past AR, the yeild time has been 3 hours.
Are you sure? That just doesn't sound right.

Each leg of the race has a YIELD point.
??? I thought that there were only 2 yields in the entire race.

I bet the Weavers are just loving the fact that the Paolo's are gone. So 'classy' of them to corner DJ Paolo and tell him that his family had no more Yeilds left, but they did "sweets".
Can't each team only use a yield once in the race?

My DH and I both said at the same time "retards." (That wasn't the only time we spoke simultaneously last night). They don't know that they aren't the only Christians.
Real nice, calling them retards. You must be a Christian, too.

I think the Godlewski ladies looked fine they were in bermuda style shorts and tank tops nothing wrong with that. The Bransen girls were in running shorts and tanks tops again nothing wrong with that now the Weaver girls in the spandex short that was just wrong. As I posted before the line from Hackers SPANDEX it is a privelege not a right and on teh Weaver girls it is definatley a WRONG.

.

Sure I was disapointed with some of the things they said last night.
I just find it funny that everyone criticizes the teenagers, but not the adults (except Linda) who say bad things.
I also think because they are Christians, they get watched that much more closely. People just wait for them to screw up

I don't think so, I think it has always been 15 minutes.

Kelly

PS - Did no one notice the Weaver girls' shorts a few episodes ago, when I did? I thought they were horrible then and still do now. Yeah, they might be work out clothes, but the Bransen girls are wearing work out clothes and they look nice (except for the hat).

What about when the Bransen girl mooned the Linz guys?

My point is... when I was younger, I wore short shorts and I remember asking my brother what he thought and he said it depends HOW you wear them. I didn't particularly see the Weavers (although I still don't like them!) doing anything to make the shorts look inappropriate.

So why are we being chastized then?

Ohter families have been pointed out what was wrong.

I tend to post the things that bother me most and work my way down from there when it comes to the bad behavior.

They don't have to be watched more to screw up--they are totally setting it up themselves (like with the speech on the mat).

We all make mistakes--we all sin--but it takes a very self-righteous person to not see their mistakes and then play all innocent.

And the other girl teen that was on--she was talked about alot as well for her snotty behavior. BUt she's been gone for a few episodes and the Weaver teens are the only teens left except for the Paulo boys--and they were plenty commented on for their wrong behavior.

My guess is when you're the Weavers.

I have no problem with their outfits. They seem to be dressing for comfort, not to mention it looks like this was shot during the warmer months. As far as their bodies, good grief! No they're not supermodels, but it's not like they are obese. I think it's pretty rotten talking smack about TEENAGE girls bodies.

Don't have the exact time. Perhaps Misslissa has it. She also commented on it but edited it because the word is against Dis standards even though she had it **** out. Edited to add that this wasn't just one time I heard her say it. She said it a couple weeks ago too. Seems to be her standard line!

I have no idea.

I was raised to dress for my body type. I wear the clothes, they don't wear me.

I don't care who was dressed inappropriately--but when you go on national television...you can dress for comfort (which I'm sure that is what the girls are doing)--while dressing in an appropriate fashion for national television.
