I have a question.
At the mat, did the Host of each country have something with them, that represented their country? Last night it was the lady with the horse and the horse bowed down to the racers. I was trying to remember. I know they are dressed in a costume that represents their countries.

I like Connor, but his dad, blah! TAR always wants someone one the show you love to hate. You wouldn't want to love all the racers.


So long Jett & Cord, maybe someone will do a Reality Show of your ranch. Sure going to miss those two.

Not sure about having something with them but they were in costume , I think that will come to play in the last task. The Canada Amazing race had official flower on all the people at the mat and they had to remember what flower went to what stop.

I was trying to remember if all of them were wearing hats.... Maybe that would be it.

This has been an outstanding season for animal lovers like me. First the donkey riding challenge (Rachel hanging onto its neck for dear life ), Then the Swiss Mountain Dogs pulling the milk containers on their wagons (the cowboys picking the big strong one!). Now the gorgeous Andalusian horse (that I'm sure is a bullfighting horse) that the cowboy rides off "into the sunset"....

Sorry I do not know. We are just finishing up Big Brother Canada this week and Starting a Bachelor Canada soon. This is the second season for that , the couple from the first one broke up just a week ago , they were together almost 2 years I think.

I also think the Afghanimals were smart to u-turn the Cowboys. They were the bigger threat. Keeping the Brenchels may work to their advantage.

I wasn't sad to see the Cowboys go. I remember Jet's temper tantrum when they almost got eliminated the first time they raced. He looked pretty foolish when Phil told them it was a non-elimination leg AFTER his little hissy fit, LOL.

Leo & Jamal were my favorites from the start, so I'm still rooting for them. They are just hilarious. I hope the final 4 doesn't include the blondes who have been scraping by with everyone's help.

Wow, that is pretty long for a couple from the Bachelor. I am so naïve, I thought everyone in Canada just watched tv stations from the U.S. Heck, you guys even have your own Weather Channel.

<snip> I a disappointed, that just like the last time the cowboys were u-turned, the placement of the u-turn in the leg, left no room for any sort of redemption. The only thing that would have been stupidier was for a u-turn to lead to non-elimination leg.

Well to be honest I do watch mostly on U.S channels because they give preview more often. If a show is running on a Canadian station and a U.S station they take over and only show us the Canadian one even if the channel is NBC etc we will switch to Globe etc.

Bonus with Amazing Race we are never pre empted if a football game is running long. Our is channel will be on time.

I still think they will have to remember each costume in a task ....like they did with the flags a few years back.

Looking at those pictures posted, it could be a patch or an emblem on their clothing, too. If they have to align anything up in order, I hope, they do not get to use notes that they taken.

Agreed that the "spoiler" posted recently didn't give me much of a hint as to who wins, except I had a feeling it wasn't going to be the cowboys. I'm sad to see them go!

While I was really hoping for a cowboys win, I wasn't counting on it. Their racing style seems to have been slow and steady this season, which may have been good for their sanity, but has driven me bonkers! I've lost count of how many times I've wondered where the heck the boys went when they started before other teams but showed up toward the back of the pack.

Of the teams left I honestly don't have a favorite for the win now.

In one sense I'm not as dead set against the girls as some people are. Do I admire their help poor us nonsense? Absolutely not; but it is a strategy, and it has gotten them this far. Lucking out and squeaking through on 2 non elimination legs bothers me though.

I'm not sure what to think of Leo & Jamal. I couldn't stand them the first time they were on, I like them much more this time around, but that makes me wonder whether I'm being swayed by their edit. lol

I like Brendan, don't like Rachel, kind of a whatever team for me.

Same thing with Conner, who I like, and Dave, who I don't much care for. I think other teams may be underestimating them though. They've racked up some nice wins, more than any other team, and I'd certainly be keeping a close eye on them if I were racing.

Not to go way off topic, but my DH (who has been around me too many year, obviously) said, "It could have been an Azteca, too, but they're not in Portugal".

I'm not familiar with the breeds, but reading this thread I'm learning a bit. I loved it that Cord walked right over and asked to ride that beautiful horse.
What a lovely moment that was.

The cowboys were strong and steady, but I think they were challenged when they needed to find something on foot. They really lost the race not getting to the airport and getting on that first flight and then not finding the clue in the garden. Like someone said, it could all be in the editing. They may have been lost for quite some time looking for that clue, then they got U-turned and had to go back and learn the dance. I bet it was a few hours, not minutes after they got to the U-turn. I was hoping they could of got the girls u-turned. Yet they would of had to have learned the dance and the girls would of had to do the bull run, so it might have been very close.

Omg! I laughed so hard every time Rachel got hit by a bull! BEST episode ever! Too bad they weren't eliminated too.
