Amazing Race 11 - All Stars (begins 2/18/07)

I read about this being the possible outcome on a spoiler site a few weeks ago, so it didn't come as a total shock. It's a shame it came down to the kind of task that they had to do. I'm sure some teams talk about other teams more than others. C&M and the BQs just might not have talked about the other teams that much.

I probably would have failed that task too as I would probably spend most of my down time sleeping or trying to plan ahead for where we might go next, etc.

I wasn't really cheering for any of the final teams, so the outcome didn't really matter to me. But for some reason, this finale just seemed sort of anti-climactic. I did enjoy watching the entire race though. Anxious for news of the next season.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm happy for Eric and Danielle. They overcame a lot of obstacles throughout the race to win. Congratulations to them!!! I didn't like that if they didn't unlock the box that they were just given the clue. That didn't seem fair. Its going to be a long summer until the next season.

I agree, I'm happy for Eric and Danielle. When it came down to the top 3 they were my number 1 with the BQs #2 and the other 2 waaaaaay far behind. The thing is the BQs were only a couple minutes behind which wasn't really fair since they didn't even really finish. However it was interesting to see who each person picked to answer those questions.

I agree. I wanted E and D to win. They have really overcome alot. I really don't understand why everyone is upset that they won? The most offensive personalities out there were the blondes. I wanted anyone BUT them to win!

This race ended much better than the last race.

Does anyone know why they have gone from a 2-hour final to a one hour final?

I'm thinking that the producers probably had a good idea that whoever got out of the building first was going to win and didn't want to have all the racers potentially standing around the mat waiting for hours for the other two teams to come in. Plus they probably figure a close finish is good for ratings.

What they could have done was waited until the first team crossed the finish line and then handed teams two and three their clues.

Anyone looking forward to Pirate Master? Looks like it could be interesting.

Am I the only one that thought the guy Eric got to talk to on the mat was super strange? I think he swore too and why did Danielle not talk to a family member

yeah, I just really didn't care that much between the final three.

As for Mirna, I just really hated the way she hysterically turned on Charla everytime something started to go wrong. I couldn't even begin to guess what she is like in real life, but she sure doesn't play well when she is under stress.

I really liked the finale 2 seasons ago when they had to match the flags for every country they visited to a map. It just seemed to tie the game up so much better. The past two seasons winning has just seemed to be more about luck than brains or skill.

What a disappointing All Star ending. I'm mainly upset because they weren't an original team. I still don't buy out of over 100+ people that have been on AR they couldn't have found an original team to fill in that spot? And I'm sorry but Danielle wasn't worthy of All Stars. If Eric and his original partner had won, I'd be more accepting of it.

Out of 11 Seasons, the only Race I've been thrilled with the results was AR9 when BJ and Tyler won.

Edited to add when this race first started the *only* team I didn't want to win was Eric and Danielle. Figures.

Now I know how people feel when their favorite sports team loses. LOL.

Probably because they were a made up team and not an original pairing.

C/M were always more offensive that the BQs. It was funny that Mirna had to fake accent for Hawaii.

I think that he said he was Jeremy....Eric's partner from last time...but it sure didn't look or act like him. Yes, I thought he was odd
