Amazing Medical Response!

My daughter and cousin are at Disneyland today. My poor daughter had a bad seizure right before getting on the train. I was not there, but was told that the response was nearly immediate. They had her in an ambulance and at the nearby hospital in less than 25 minutes! People ask why Disneyland is our go-to vacation, and this is one of the many reasons. They handled everything with such care and urgency, that she was able to get treatment immediately and is feeling much better ☀

WDW was amazing that way for me too! I called the front desk from my room when I needed to go to the ER. I was the only driver in our group at the time, and in too much pain to drive. Not only did I get an efficient, free ambulance ride to the ER in Celebration, Pop Century had a security detail at my room in less than five minutes, a manager there a few minutes later, and two follow up calls the next day. I was in the ambulance in less than 15 minutes, I think. They drew blood for testing on the way (!) and made sure I was checked in before they left.

Thank you all for the support. Thankfully my daughter is okay today. She is back in the parks in a wheelchair. She declared she wouldn't waste the last day of her trip. The heart of a true Disney fan!

I had a similar experience after a fall at POFQ. I was very impressed.
