Amanda's Menu Planning Spectacular!

So how's it going? Are you feeling OK or do you look like this?:crazy2: Or maybe like this? :headache: Whatever the case I'm sending lots of :goodvibes to help you recover from the party last night. :p

Have a nice Saturday, princess: A.
Erin

Well the old saying goes - if you remember the party then you didn't have a good time. Well I had a GREAT time last night. :)
I would love to recap it for you guys but I seriously cannot remember what I ate - although I can remember what I drank - it is good to always remember what you drink.

We only had one couple that we made spend the night, they were just haveing to much fun to send them home. I got up this morning and got them breakfast so that they could eat before heading home.

This morning I made good choices for someone who drank alot last night - bagels. They suck up alcohol and are easily digested. After this though - I am going to toe the low carb line. I'm thinking I'll go for a walk later this afternoon. I've got to clean up from the party and I should probably disinfect the bathroom.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I remember doing that on more than one occasion in my early twenties! Thanks for the memory/laugh.:D
Now since we have kids I am always the responsible one. Our littlest doesn't care what time you went to bed, he is up with the roosters every am and then gets me up. My husband is cursed when he drinks too much because he also gets up way early but then it is ugly. He is happy but good for nothing as far as the kids are concerned. He gives them their way, never says no and vegs on the couch. Usually by midafternoon he is in a coma on the couch. I will have to remember (I had forgotten) the bread thing so he can not be such a waste the next day.:p

Amanda, congratulations on the 2lb. loss this week!!! Way to go!!! It's so wonderful that you are feeling so good about yourself now too. :)

Amanda,
Congrats on the weight loss!:jumping1: Woohoo! I'm glad that you had a good time at the party. How are you feeling today?;)
Take good care of you and have a wonderful Sunday!

Tracy:wave2:

Hi Amanda,

Are we still whispering at your house? I hope you are feeling better today. Glad you had a GREAT time at the party. Enjoy your day.
Beth

Good Monday Morning to everyone! Dh and I decided to take the day off today and relax a little bit more. There is so much to be done around our house that didn't get done this weekend. Plus we feel that we need some "me" time since we are about to head into a very crazy schedule.

Plan for today:
B: 1/2 bagel and cream cheese
L: ?
D: ?

Some plan huh? One thing on my list to get done is Grocery Shopping. :)

Exercise - We will be exercising tonight repeating the 4 minutes and 6 minute sequence again.

Doe inspired me to write down my measurements so here we go:

Bust: 40.5
Chest: 37
Waist: 35
Hips 41
Thighs: 21
Arms: 12

I cannot believe there is a 6 inch difference between my waist and my hips! I'm not kidding when I say 6 months ago I was straight up and down.

~Amanda

You're becoming a curvy girl!!! WOO HOO!! I know you've struggled with this change but I bet you're lookin' good! Your measurements look like you're getting a very balanced hourglass figure!

I did my grocery shopping last evening - now it's your turn!! :teeth: :wave2:

Enjoy the relaxing day today with DH!!

:sunny: Good morning, Amanda!:sunny: Sounds like you're carving out quite a nice waist for yourself! Now I guess I have to go take my measurements again so that I can be part of the tape measure club!

Have a good workout tonight and a nice day off--
Erin

WooHoo Amanda,

You have an hourglass figure. WTG! Hope your Monday is :sunny: .
Beth

I wish I could say that I was good today - but I wasn't. I snacked all day long. Tomorrow is a new day and that is what I am going to focus on. We also decided to skip our run tonight because the forcast is calling for rain on Wednesday - we like to go every other day so we are going to run Tues, Thurs, Saturday.

~Amanda

It's a new day, Amanda - time for a fresh start! ::yes::

I hope coming to work wasn't too traumatic - I know that returning after a day off can be tough sometimes! Close your eyes, take a deep breath and find your inner peace and your "happy place". Know that you'll face whatever the day brings with your usual brand of courage and humor.

Well I'm back at work :worried: and I"ve just spent the last hour answering 50 emails - it is amazing to me sometimes how much stuff can pile up with being gone just one day.

I'm actually feeling worse today then I did yesterday - but I am going to plow through. My boss even told me to take it easy today - I guess I look pretty bad.

I woke up late this morning so I was going to skip breakfast - someone here gave me a Slim Fast bar - 35 carbs and I ate that for breakfast instead. I guess this means I'll have to watch my carbs the rest of the day.

L: Cheeseburger and pickles
D: George Forman Catfish with seasonings - cauliflower with Cheese Sauce

Lots and lots of water!

~Amanda

:wave2: Hi Amanda,
Sorry you're having a rough time today  . Sending some pixie dust to get you through :wizard: .

Well I stuck to plan today which makes me very :teeth: Here is a Recap:
B: Slim fast bar - 35 carbs
L: Cheeseburger, a little ketchup and mustard, 3 pickles - 2 carbs
S: Cream Savers - 11 carbs
D: 2 pieces of Paremesean Cat Fish and Broccoli - 4 carbs
S: Grapes -15 carbs
S: 3 slices of Turkey and Mustard

Total of 68 carbs - not great but no necesarily bad either.

Exercise - 25 minute walk

I think I need to set myself some goals - so for the rest of the week Wednesday through Sunday my goal is to keep my carbs between 30 and 55 per day.

:wave2: Amanda. Here's some :wizard: and some :goodvibes for this Wednesday of yours. Remember, eating right and exercising isn't a punishment--they're gifts you give to yourself, gifts to make the journey down life's road healthier and happier!:sunny:

Have a good one,
Erin

Amanda, I hope you're feeling better today! Congratulations on staying with your plan yesterday! :Pinkbounc I think your choices were good ones!

I'm sending you :goodvibes for a happy day! :sunny:

Good Morning everyone! Well I made it into work and I think that is going to be my one and only goal today ;) I woke up late! Like really late! Like only 10 minutes to take a shower, brush teeth, and iron clothes late - but I managed to get it all in and now I'm here and I think to myself, "Why was I in such a hurry again?"

I had a good day yesterday and I made some good choices - today is going to be more of the same!

PLAN:
B: 3 slices of Turkey - I told you I ran out the door late
L: Either Grilled Catfish on the George Forman or I might made some scrambled eggs.
D: ??? There is lots in the freezer just nothing I feel like cooking. If it comes down to it I will get some chicken breast out and we will make those into something.
S: 2 Cream Savers, and some Sugar Free Jello

Exercise: I would like to go for a run but it will depend on how DH is feeling - he is working long days right now.

~Amanda

Sounds like a good plan for the day...never had turkey for breakfast but with turkey where can you go wrong. How do you season your catfish on the forman....I have one but have never done catfish. Sorry to hear you were so rushed today. Have a great one and keep smiling.
