I see what you girls are saying. I will think about it. I posted a pic of a blue table with bright green flowers that i liked.

If you look at the one above, I do like the white table with the runner. Maybe a blue runner with green centerpieces, but ivory linens?

I think white might make the colors pop a bit more, but if you want something softer, there are different levels of ivory, some very soft all the way to a more yellowy tone (IMO anyway). I think it is hard without seeing it because something that sounds good in theory may not look right in person. I really like the runner idea, that pink one is awesome.

I like that blue color too, so I suppose I am not much help

Phew just caught up! I vote for the linen as a runner as I think all the tables in that colour would be quite dark.

could they do the blue cloth you like in a runner? like in the pics you posted...that would look really pretty. like the pink one you posted, but with blue and then do blue and green flowers...

ohhh i like the linens with the sparkle lay ( what can i say i like shiney !) but i do agree i think it would darken the room a bit too much, if they could do runners in that style i think i would look great! that being said, if they cant do runners and you are really interested in those linens you could do other things to brighten up the room ( white napkins, and chair covers-If you are using any?) and you may want to go a shade brighter for green accents?

--then again we all know im creatively challenged so my vision is majorly skewed

I like the runners. I think the blue runner would be perfect with some ivory linens and the green from the flowers. Its just a splash of color but not too overwhelming.

I vote table runners If you are going to cover the whole table in a color I personally think it should be a very light pastel color. BUT, since you don't want pastels I think a runner would bring in color but not darken the room or overwhelm it.

Thanks girls. I guess the blue would be a bit much...especially in such a small room. I do love the way that the colors pop off the white (or ivory table) Hopefully I can get runners in that blue color!!

I was wondering about the tables in that room...not sure how many we will have. I would have loved to do the U-shaped or Roman table but I think we will have too many.

We have more to pick obviously. Oh my dad joked about our Dad/ Daughter dance being to AC/DC Back in Black...lol I am thinking abou suprising him!!
