Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

The green orchids are really pretty and a good idea. I really like the idea of mainly pink and green with a bit of blue.

I was looking up Jazzy's dress on Davids Bridal and found that you can do a mock up of your color scheme. It's located at the top of the page under "color inspiration". You can see what having the blue, pink, and green together will look like.

Sorry if anything I said upset you.

You know what's pretty? The colors in your wedding countdown clock. LOL Seriously, they are beautiful together. I love your colors, I'm so sorry if my thoughts on the cake colors hurt your feelings.

On the one count wonder poster, just ignore them and they'll go away. They're obviously someone in disguise or here just to start trouble or rain on your parade. Those kind of posters crave attention and the best things to do is not give it to them.

Oh I love the colored shoes, way too cool. For the record, I wore decorated white sneakers(they were beautiful my mom did them) my skirt was so full you couldn't even see my feet and I had a butt bow, looking back I still love it all!
Lol do you have a picture of the sneakers? They sound so cute!

There are SO many cute color combos... I love my colors..LOVE... but I'm starting to want multiple weddings so I can use all of the other color combos I LOVE! :lmao:
Lol what a great idea :lmao:

Sarah you are a rockstar! I love how you did all of that photoshop work! Everything looks beautiful!
I love it too! Sarah is my hero!

I love the one with the blue ribbon and the pink flowers, the cake looks great as well. Pink and green with blue accents would look really pretty, especially since your main colors seem to be pink and green with the shoes and dress. . . love the pink shoes (I'm buying pink ballet shoes for my reception), we'll start an epidemic of pink shoe brides :rotfl:

Lol there are a few other Disney brides with pink shoes. We need to do a dis brides meet and all wear pink shoes!!

What if you used green cymbidium orchids? I asked for purple throats but I think you can ask for pink throats ...that would give you the green and the pink in your floral..but I am also very partial to green orchids

Oh I will have to go check that out!! Thank you!!

To those who have apologized...NO NEED!! I was overwhelmed yesterday. In the past there was a few people who came and made, oh so not nice comments. They know who they are and I now know WHY they are doing it. I don't have the time or want to spend energy on that!

You girls are great and I love your support and advice!!

Lol what color?

I went at luchtime and saw some champagne coloured ones I like and think i'll go back tomorrow and get them, they are mega high. I tried some bright red ones as well but they didn't fit right.

Ohhh how pretty!! I can't wait to see what you pick!

Girls, I was looking at the company Disney uses for Linens...not sure how the blue ties in but what do you think? (oh and not the centerpiece!)

I like that. I don't know about the color of green used for the table linen but other than that I like it! You could tie the blue into the centerpieces.

Oh I know about the green...it was more the idea of having "a" green table cloth and the pink and white chairs. Not sure how I feel about it. They had some great stuff on their site!

That will look gorgeous, with a little darker green. And I agree with Jazz, you can incorporate the blue in the centerpieces, or favors you use (if you are putting them on the table), or just have it be a ceremony thing and don't use blue for the reception. Decisions, decisions. . .

My main color is blue, I'll look through my pics when I get home to see if I have anything that would help, as far as centerpieces and such goes.

I love how that looks!!! :goodvibes

You could totally tie in some blue with the centerpieces. I'll have to think about how and get back to you... but i love the pink and green linens :goodvibes

ok..I am going to risk being skewered for this..but this looks like too much going on..the green table cloth with the pink and white. I think you need to make it a little "less". Once you have plates, chairs, glassware..I think all the color will look to busy.

Less is more!

Don't know if you saw this, but the website has a ribbon taffeta fabric in your colors:

Here is and example of how the display it:

I'm gonna agree with you....less is more! :thumbsup2

I can see that. Me personally, I don't like chair covers at all, I think all of the fabric becomes overwhelming. I like the look of chiavari chairs, but also know they aren't necessarily in everyone's budget.

Well... you could always have like... the guest tables have all green linens/white chair covers while maybe the cake table, sweetheart table, and guestbook table have pink linens/white chair covers. Would be a nice way to break up all of the color that would be in the room, and you could easily find your food throughout the night! :rotfl:

Phew, caught up again! I really need to check in here more often, I am so impressed how you guys can use editing software to change colours in the bouquets, cakes etc. Having seen those cake edits, I'd love to see the cake with green ribbon, pink icing, and white scrollwork!! Is our cake editor taking audience requets?? :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm going to disagree with less is more for your table setting, I think those colours you've chosen in that mock-setup picture would work well in a busy setting, plus I personally don't think the setting you posted a picture of is particularly busy, looks like a standard table wear and table/chair cover set up. I guess we all have different tastes in table linens though! :) Is that an organza tablecloth? (I love organza!!) Are you still thinking of feather centerpieces though? If so, maybe consider blue tableclothes with green chair accents and pink table setting accents (like name placecards)? A blue cloth might suit the slightly more formal look of large feather centerpieces.

Where are we at with shoes?? I have skipped over several pages here very quickly and can't remember what was decided! I thought the sandle strap heels with diamonte buckle accent types you were looking at were very pretty though.

Ohhh I would love to see any blue pics you have!! I was thinking maybe for the ceremony the softer colors of green and pink with hints of blue...but maybe switch it up for the reception and do blue and green with hints of pink.:confused3

I love how that looks!!! :goodvibes

Oohh let me know! I have some more pics to share too.

Orrrr the napkins can be blue... or the menus... or the favors... or the cocktails... :thumbsup2

Mmmm blue cocktails!!!

See I thought the solid colors were less...the carpet in WHP is the only "busy" thing. I'll have to think about it.

I did see that!!! I was worried about the carpet in there.

Oh here are the shoes. I took pics but haven't put them on my computer yet...
dyeab295745_5215_jb.jpg

I plan on dyeing them...probably blue.

Ok two more ideas.

I love this...what about blue linens, white and green centerpiece and maybe pink napkins...

finebarmitzvah010_edited11_1_-302x215.jpg

and I like this...blue water to brighten it up...maybe pink or green flowers (obviously not red). I love the blue crystals hanging!!

Tonight Eric and I are havign date night. We haven't seen each other all week. We are going to do some wedding planning. I need to make a list of everything we need to get done.

And on a side note....I found a note in the bathroom this morning that said, "I can't wait to say I Do!"...I took a picture to show you girls but it's still on my camera!

I wanted to share what I just bought...This is the blue bird of happiness (blue jay). Blue Jays remind our family of my grandfather who passed away a year and a half ago. I won't go into family drama but it has been very hard on my family. I actually haven't spoken with my grandmother since Christmas and she won't be coming to the wedding. I am hoping to have this on my bouquet...so he can be with me.

What a wonderful tribute!

I know I couldn't make up my mind about a lot of linens, etc. but Disney Floral really helped me narrow down our options. You could even alternate tables between the different colors too :goodvibes

I was playing online, instead of working and suing people LOL.

Here is something dramatic. What if you went with some pink and green flowers with a blue light in the vase or green and blue flowers with a pink light in the vase.

These have your colors with blue, pink and green hydrangea.
tall+centerpiece+WASHINGTON+DC.jpg

Just some thoughts. I love the crystals on that one centerpiece by the way.

I loove the lights in the centerpieces, (I'm doing them for mine), although I'm not having flowers. Three cylinder vases on a mirror with the blue light and white floating candles. I haven't decided if I will do pink petals, or pink napkins, but I can post pictures tonight. I have a couple pics in my PJ, but just of the vases and lights. They are beautiful in person, the pictures don't do them justice. I also found a company out of San Diego that has them pretty reasonable. I like the design that Toni put up with the flowers, really pretty :goodvibes
