Am I too late?

I booked our trip back in February - then all heck broke loose! I haven't been able to enjoy my preparations as much as I had hoped.

Am I too late to make reservations for something decent like the luau? It's our anniversary, and I wanted to do something special.
I guess what I'm asking is what do I have a shot at getting reservations for?
and
I thought I read that I can book the dining plan up to a week b4 our trip...is that right? We are going in August and I cannot wait!

I suggest calling Disney as soon as possible and find out what is available. It may be late, but hopefully something will be available that you'd like. It's much better than showing up without any ADRs and trying to find a place to eat without them!

You have a better shot of getting something now than if you wait until your there. Keep in mind you may not get the days/times of your choice, but your bound to get something. I never recall getting a spot at the luau as being a problem, so I think you'll be fine with that one, but I'd call now.

I would call everyday at 7:00am and then a couple of times a day cause you never know when somebody is going to cancel there ress.
