That is the link to save $5 and get free shipping.

These books are sold as fundraisers for just about everything including dance studios, schools, sports teams, etc....

In Minnesota, they are called Happenings Books. They are well worth it, many times having 2 for 1 coupons in them for dining etc..

It pays for itself many times over.

Have fun.

I got my coupon by using the trial online subscription. You have to enter your credit card and if you don't cancel in 10 days you will be charged $3.99 a month but you have access to the various coupons in the book. You are allowed to print 3 coupons on your trial.

The link is on the top of the main page for entertainment.com

I had considered buying the book, the animal shelter I work at is selling them but the other coupons are places we don't usually don't go to.

I don't. So you're not alone. Don't want one either.

We don't have one and I didn't want to buy one just for the rental car coupon I needed. I asked EVERYONE I knew and came up with the coupons I needed. Saved me over $100, but still not worth the $35 for a book I would not use.

Certainly free is better than $$, although I paid only $20 for my book. I purchased it as part of a fundraiser. I do three or four National car rentals a year, taking advantage of the $20 discount each time (I print the additional coupons from the web site once I've used the ones in the book). Last year, we used about $300 worth of 2-for-1 dining coupons, all for restaurants we usually frequent. It gets to the point that my DW asks first what discount dining coupons we have left before we pick a restaurant when dining out. A discount coupon book like this one may be a form of "golden handcuffs" in promoting first-time and repeat business for the participating businesses. Overall, I figure we saved over $400 during each of the last two years by purchasing the $20 book.

Bought the 2004 book in Feb 2004-price reduced to $15 plus free shipping.
Saved me $100 in rentals alone.

I usually wait until spring when they mark the price down to like $5 or $10
