I still have not decided if I am going to be able to go or not so I haven 't booked yet. There is still availablilty for my travel dates 8/26-8/31 just not at my first choice which is pop.
If I go I will be driving which was'nt bad last year when I had my dh to do most of it but he does not want to go back.
I feel like I shouldn't book if I haven't decided 100% if I am going or not because it will take a room away from someone who has already decided. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else is still trying to convince themselves to go back to disney on an unplanned trip and hasn't yet booked and if others think I'm crazy for not booking yet.

In my case it's not me dragging my feet it's DH! We did Disney and Universal for a 2 week vacation last year with no intentions of going back so soon but I really feel our family needs a vacation from the ratrace of life. I have a Disney Visa card and wanted to book early this week and DH said no, we can't afford it (I have the money sitting in the vacation account we never touched last year!). Now I am hoping for business to be very good this spring so I can convince him before the June deadline. Each day I wonder, "Will they fill up? If I wait will I get my 1st choice of resorts? etc. etc. etc." It's driving me crazy. :sad2:

I booked yesterday 8/26-8/30 I just called to add on 8/31 and 9/1 and it is not available at any value...she could add on 8/31 at Sports but since the pool is closed I kept as is and will try back.

i already had a package booked at POP for my dates and went to apply the code yesterday morning...could not apply it to POP had to switch to ASMu

Better get cracking!

I haven't booked yet, and am not real worried about it. I know there is one set of dates I can still get POP (but I am not telling) but if not AS-Sp is fine.

Summer is best for DWs work but not mine. Plus it is too hot in august, for us. And our trip last august trip was 90+ degrees and rain five of six days. All day type rain...

That and the fact that we were jsut there on spring break with DW's two choirs.

It hurts to watch the discounts and codes and know we should probably wait until next year to go again. House could use a new roof...

I just booked - I only hesitated since I had to work non-stop yesterday and today, and absolutely no time to call before tonight! :faint: I got free dining for two adults and 2 kids with base tickets, in garden view at the Poly!! :)

Must say, I had to call twice and fight for it! The first CM I had was not knowledgable, seemed confused when I asked about free dining , she mumbled, and barely greeted me or anything. She told me that garden view Poly wasn't available. I checked on-line before and knew that it was (my internet was being tempermental so I didn't want to book online, I rather do it over the phone). So I hung up politely, and I called back. Thank goodness, now I got an AWESOME CM who knew everything, who spoke clearly, and just had excellent customer service skills. And he easily found the garden view at the Poly available for my dates, and booked it with no problems!!

I had no idea why that first CM was only quoting me astronomically-priced views (the cheapest she found at the Poly was a Magic Kingdom view for $4200 or so), and I am not sure she was even looking at the free dining bookings! :confused3:

Well, fortunately this is a lesson I already learned here on the DIS - if you get a CM who just doesn't seem to know what they are doing, CALL BACK and get someone else, it got me the deal!! :)

I am walking on air right now. I just got the fdd package with my first choice of dates and resort. I got two rooms at pop for Aug 26-Aug 31. The problem now is my dh thinks that I should extend the stay so airfare is cheaper but they don't have free dining available but I will just book room only. I am so excited right now. I had to share.

I'm still thinking about booking . . .it all depends on flights . . .right now Delta is $360/rt pp and that is wayyyyy too much money . . .I am waiting for Southwest to open up their dates to see what their rates are.

DH and I are supposed to go in October for our Anniversary, but I would definitely switch to September for the free dining and bring the kids along.
