Am I the ONLY one that didn't think MVMCP was great?

We were there Dec 2 too. This was our 3rd MVMCP and we enjoyed it very much.

I found it to be managable crowd-wise. Same as other years. I did miss the carriage being behind the castle but LOVED it in the parade. I loved the changes they made to the parade.

We did the second parade on Main Street because we like the atmosphere...decorations, snowing etc... so we got a seat about 1/2 before the parade.

We got our photo but did have to wait this year for the first time as the lines were long for most of the night and I couldn't get to one right at 7:00p this year. We got our hot choc and cookies with no problems.

We missed the show in Tomorrowland unfortunately and we also couldn't get a good view of Wishes...bummer...so we went and did our photo then instead.

We rode everything we wanted and had a great time. It did get pretty cold during the second parade. We left after that.

We were there Nov. 30 for our first ever MVMCP. We had a great, great time.

It didn't seem cold to us Ohioans! We caught the first show of Twas the Night(I think at 6:15), and walked out and got in line at It's a Small World for our photo and was the first ones photographed there so no wait. We got cookies and hot chocolate several different times at various places.

After the photo, we did several rides with virtually no wait(rode BTMRR 3 times in a row with no wait). DH and I watched the first parade while the kids walked right on to SM and then we all walked to Main Street to watch Wishes which we thought was outstanding. We watched the show in front of the castle and then found a spot in Frontierland for the 2nd parade.

Our only disappointment was that we couldn't last until midnight!
It was our first day in the parks and we were still catching up from our early morning flight the day before.

We had a great time and would do it again! I really thought the crowds were manageable, but I might not do it the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend if I had to choose again, but we loved our first MVMCP!!

Just kidding! Sorry you didn't enjoy it all that much. It is the most anticipated part of our December trips. I think it's fair to wager that we will be going to WDW each and every December until I die. We have gone last year and this year already, and both years attended the Christmas Party on two different days during our trips. As far as I'm concerned, the parade alone makes it worthwhile.
