Will Big Al be in the new show? That’s really all that matters.
It may look like him, but his soul will be gone.

I don't have a really strong opinion about the changes.

I think that is why Disney is failing where Universal is succeeding. Disney is NOT listening to its fans when they should.Hate to say it but people posting on a Disney message board aren’t their target audience. Very unlikely that a majority of the population has a negative response to this change at all.
If everyone who goes keeps going back, they wouldn't need any new customers.Respectfully disagree. You’re going to keep going back regardless (or a retention rate of people like you of 95+%). To a new family that’s not been, hearing a Whole New World and other popular songs creates an emotional attachment to get them coming back.
Gaining that new customer is the person they’re looking to capture.
The Country Bear Jamboree holds a special place in many Disney World fans' hearts, myself included. It's a true classic, creating memories for generations. It's like going to a concert for your favorite band – you want to hear the hits, the songs you love. Same goes for the Country Bears!I think that is why Disney is failing where Universal is succeeding. Disney is NOT listening to its fans when they should.
You need to be a pretty hard-core fan to spend more than it costs to go to Europe on a theme park vacation more than once. Nostalgia is their best asset and they don't value it. It's a major error on their part.

I would disagree. The people who get on message boards to post their latest complaint represent 1/2 of 1 percent of their consumers. Trying to please them is an exercise in futility. All they really need to do is look at the half empty theater most days to realize that it's time for an update. We complain that they are replacing our nostalgic favorite attraction and then also complain that the 40-year-old ride with 50-year-old animatronics is always going down. At some point, you just have to move on. My 9 yo doesn't care about the Tiki Room and doesn't even know who the Swiss Family are. Do we really need Tom Sawyer's Island? There's rarely anyone over there (if it is open) and not much to really do anyway. Can we not move on from it because 47 people on the internet had a favorite memory from 42 years ago about walking in a cave?
I personally don't want to visit an amusement park museum. I want to see what's new. When DW opened it was special because there wasn't much like it. Now that's becoming true again but for the wrong reasons. How does the word Tomorrowland even apply when the speedway is using old power instead of (at the very least) an electric car? I love the People Mover, but why am I being moved on a bench that looks like it's from a 1982 McDonalds restaurant? We could all probably do post after post of all the ways in which time is passing Disney by. Being devastated over a song change seems a bit much.
I was in the indifferent camp when it came to the OG Country Bear show and think the new one is fine. Not amazing but not as bad as Under New Management. The only song I really have an issue with is Try Everything - it sounds pretty bad compared to the others.I found a video of the new show on Reddit. The song selection is quite weird to me and doesn't fit the theme of "Country Bears".
For those who hated the old show, you might like it now.
For those who loved the old show, I think you'll be disappointed.
All in all, I think its unbearable
