Am I not eligible for a code at this time?

We booked our trip room only for next FEB 3-9 2009. I read in another thread that a 40% off pin code would not apply to these dates.

Is that really the case?

The 40% off pin code is only currently for dates in 2008. This is not to say that there won't be discounts for next year, they just haven't been released yet. February 3-9 is usually a Value Season and quieter at the Parks than Peak Season which usually starts around February 14. You've picked a great time to visit and if you're lucky you'll be able to catch a Mickey's Pirate & Princess Party too!
