Am I just too old to get it?

I signed up for VMK and wandered around aimlessly for an hour or so last night. It was interesting to explore, I guess, but I couldn't figure out how to "do" anything.

Clearly there's more to it than I found, or there wouldn't be so many people adicted to it.

I'm also disappointed because my screen name was rejected. I was hoping to keep BirdsOfPreyDave. Guess the moderators don't know that's the name of Donald Duck's motorcycle club. LOL.

I think that's how everyone starts. What would you like to know how to do? I'm sure everyone here would be delighted to help you out.

Howdy Dave and welcome to the VMK,

You may want to take a few minutes and read the players guide that is stickied on the top of this forum. It has lots of useful info for new players and has guides for the quests and games. If you need any help or direction after that just say the word and you will be flooded with DIS people offering to help

Welcome Dave!! Yes, it's hard when you first start playing vmk. I remember wandering around thinking to myself "so what's the point???" But it's the people that make VMK so addicting - the awesome friends that you make. I had a hard time with VMK until I started meeting other Dis'ers. So let us know the next time you are planning on logging in. Some of us can come meet you and you can add us to your friends list.



Ha Ha! But be warned - VMK will become VERY addicting!!
