Am I just really outta the loop or did eveyone else know about the 75 Mickeys

I knew they were going on tour, but will it be AFTER they do 6 months at DL after leaving WDW, or before? I figured they'd save the tour until the end and do it on the way to New York for the auction.

it sounded like they would tour after leaving WDW. Spend time at DL and be sold at Sotheby's in 2005.

Yep - You are correct! I just checked the disneytravelagents site. It reads: <I>"All 75 statues will be on display at locations across the Walt Disney World® Resort through April 2004. Afterward, the statues will visit cities across the U.S. before they are displayed at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, Calif., in fall 2004."</I>

I also did not realize that they would move around the WDW resort. I thought they would stay at MK while at WDW. Now I know better!

We didn't know about these until the day before they uncovered them. We were at the MK and I asked a CM what all those covered things were and she told me. We saw them the next two days - first they were all together in front of the train station behind ropes and hard to see all of them (I asked a CM to take a picture of the Annette one for me) The next day they were dispered about and MUCH easier to see them all. I took pictures of about 30 of them - my favorites. Way cool!

I was actually hoping they'd be in one place/park so they'd be easier to take photos of and see. I really don't want to do a Mickey hunt...not enough time this trip!

beattyfamily - As of last week they were ALL in front of the MK near the turnstyles. Maybe someone who has been there more recently could answer your question. Sure hope that you get to see them as they are fun!

Was just there this weekend and most of them are in front of the park. I was looking for a particular one to show DH and it was not there. As it was 11:45 at night and the park closed at 11:00 there was no one to ask. Should have counted how many were out there, but the thought didn't occur to me. beatty family please pm or email me.

pintrader - Maybe the particular one you were looking for and could not find was the one that was missing when I photographed them. I could have sworn I went to each one in the rows, one by one, and when I got home I discovered I had only photographed 74. I've been back to MK a few times since, but have not yet taken the time to go through and count them to find my "missing" one.

I am looking for the one by Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor. I think it may have been numbered 75. Just can't remember anymore and don't know where I put my little piece of paper.

I have the sheet. The one you were looking for is Number 74 - <I>"I Speak for Mickey and Mickey Speaks for Me."</I>

I can't recall if I shot that one or not.
