ok here's a worthy update hehehe

The gala went great. We did a great job. It started at 7pm and ended at like 830pm or 8h40pm. Kids loved it. People keep congratulating us.

So that stress is over.

I'm working hard on grading. Hopefully all my marks will be entered and given to the principal by the end of the week.

A bit of sad news. The latest Canadian soldier who died in Afganisthan (sp) once was a student of mine. He was only 20.

What saddens me more is that he was one of the few students that I got through to. He was rowdy in the beginning of the year, and was not serious at all. Got him to draw Marvel comics, which he loved, and he was serious and hard working at every class.

Alexandre Peloquin, I will remember you.

Last but not least, as I have said in an earlier update, we finally received my mom's passport. Yay!!

And we received the DME tags!!

Got another good update.

I just got a call from Disney regarding the e-mail I sent months ago when the CM made a mistake concerning our reservation.

They are sorry and will be sending my parents a package at the resort. Can't wait to see what it is!

Oh and I got my hair colored and cut yesterday. The color looks ok. Reddish like I like. But a bit shorter than I thought.

I asked for 3 inches off. And it looks more like 5 inches off.

Oh well. My parents can't shut up about how apparently good it looks.

I'll get used to it. And it grows fast. So I'll make the best of it.

Tomorow night I'm gonna see my teenage role model: "Gwen STefani" with the band that meant everything to me at a certain point when I was a teenager: No Doubt.

I won't be on the dis as I will be sleeping over at my friend's who lives close to where I work.

Well guys... I'm off for the day.

Gonna see my monster group 2 times this day. I planned movies lol

Tonight going over to my friend's to give her her b-day gift, then going to see No Doubt with her.

Gonna sleep over at her house.

Gonna go to work for the next 2 days.

Then on friday night it's the Virgin festival. GOing to see Simple Plan and the Black Eyed peas (my friend won tickets for both nights but I just wanted to go friday).

Then sleeping over at my aunts(i lived there during University since she lived way closer to Montreal (she lives in laval)). She's happy to see me. Though we'll only see each other saturday morning.

Then I'm going shopping for capris. Then coming home

So my next official update will be saturday. Hopefully with some pics.

Even though it's not totally off until the 22-23 since some students have to come back and complete exams.

Last day with the kids.

They went to an amusement park yesterday.

And I only have the last 2 periods (the entire afternoon).

I hope they stay home. I'm not in the mood. And I don't know what we will do.

ok, so like I said, I was going to sleep over at my friend's who lives closer to where I work.

WEll at 4pm, I was off work and went to her place.

As I was unloading my car, she told me she had to leave at 7am the next morning. And she had no extra key.

This is what it looked like from where we were seated.

The next pictures are taken with the zoom.

I was pissed. I knew that if I were to drive the extra 30 min to get home I would get to sleep more. Urgh!

I decided to sleep over anywayz.

By 5pm we were on our way.

We drove to the metro station and it took us around 30 min to get to the venue.

We had not eaten. So we went to a restaurant nearby who usually works fast to let people get to their show.

Well the show was starting at 7:30pm instead of 8pm.

It took forever at the restaurant.

Some people waited over 1 hour for their food.

We missed the first opening act, which was "Bedouin Soundclash". They are ok but we didn't mind missing it.

But we really wanted to see the second opening act, "Paramore". I've loved them since like last summer or before that, when I bought their album.

We got to the venue as the first act was finishing and bought myself a nice t-shirt.

Then we got to our seat, and waited for "Paramore" to start.

They did an awesome job. And of course they ended their set with a song from the "Twilight" soundtrack.

Then No Doubt took the stage around 9:30 pm. They did lotsa songs. It was awesome. I felt like I was 15 again. OMG I love Gwen Stefani. She was my role model back then. Here are some pics.
