Am I dense?

We are brand new DVC members--we actually bought sight (or would this be site?) unseen at SSR. We are going down next TUesday and I arranged a tour today w/ our guide. He asked about plans that day and kept asking if there was "anything else" I needed. I said no. Did I miss something? Should I have asked for something? If so, what? Or was he just being polite? Maybe he wanted to know if I needed more points! I am really bad at reading between the lines. Just wanted some expert advice! I didn't think DVC did or could anything as an extra perk so I wasn't expecting anything-It was just the way he was asking. Thanks!

Good point about the time! That didn't occur to me but it makes sense! Thanks! Darn, for a minute I thought I was going to get free APs!

get your free fast passes i have been reading about i think people have been saying you get 12 fast passes that u can use within the next 2 days

After the tour we got free fast passes and free ice cream....sort of. We actually didn't
use the free ice cream because we wanted to get lunch first. For the fast passes we each got a card that could be used two times in a fast pass machine. The machine will give you a fast pass for the _current time_ - an instant front-of-the-line pass. The only problem we had was that they were supposed to be good for 48 hours, but when we tried to use them about 40 hours after we got them some of them worked and some didn't.

The moral is: use your fast passes early, and plan for dessert after your tour.

We were offered both the meal coupons and the fast passes when we toured. We took the meal coupons. Maybe when you go down you can hint about those...
