Am I crazy to think I will eventually win?

As long as you're not paying for entry or buying thing you don't need for entry, it's not crazy. It's the people that buy tons of magazine subscriptions to get Publisher Clearing House or spend $100 on lotto that are crazy for trying.
I enter any contest that peeks my interest or I think is something I can resell for a few bucks.(selling free stuff is a nice profit even if you sell it well under retail value)

I had been entering contests like crazy about nine months ago, but the closer we got to our actual vacation, I decided to give up hope and start actually budgeting.
But, now you've given me hope to keep trying for next year!

Last year I played the game on the DCL web site every day. I loved it and it was a lot of fun. Even after I had collected all of the "prizes", I still kept playing because I enjoyed it and DH would laugh at me. Then to my delight and DH's utter surprise, I won one of the cruises. He doesn't pick on me any more.........

I LOVED that game and played it every day too! Even my husband got into it! I'm glad someone won. I wanted to win that one so bad. Disney Cruises are so cost prohibitive for me, because we go to WDW on a CM discount. The only way we're going on a WDW cruise is to win one.

BTW, entering religiously for 3 years now, and only thing I've won so far is the Brave Soundtrack.

I enter sweepstakes too. I usually enter for about a hour a day while my DH watches tv. Right now I'm on a huge winning streak- over $30,000 in prizes in the past 3 months including a trip to Orlando, a $500 grocery store giftcard, a $1,000 department store gift card (Christmas is paid for), a big green egg grill and a $22,000 trip to Australia for all four of us (definitely a big check on my bucket list) but the 6 months before I hardly won anything. I figure it doesn't hurt to try and it's great to win!

No, I enter all types of contest and have won a few on blogs. Nothing like a trip but smaller things like games for the kids, books, coupons, etc.

I don't think it's crazy at all! I sign up for every sweepstakes I can find. Last summer when Target was doing the Cars 2 sweepstakes for a trip to Disneyland, I signed up every day. I won a $100 Target gift card, but my sister won the grand prize! We went in March and it was amazing! Now, I'm even more diligent about applying for stuff like that-- I want to win a Disney cruise

I enter contests about an hour every day and have been doing this for about 10 years now. The best thing I ever won so far was only $2,000. I only win stupid little things (like I just won 12 bottles of dial body wash). I am really not wasting my time because I do it at work when I am not busy or on my lunch hour. I am still waiting to win that trip. I am jealous of the people who keep winning the big stuff all the time. Good luck to everyone who tries.

I won $97 dollars for listening to a local radio station while I worked and they stopped I'm to see if my radio was on. The guy that gave me the money asked me live on the radio what I am going to do with the money and I blurted out, "buy new winter boots." He gave me the dirtiest look, like what a stupid answer. I guess I was suppose to say, Buy free drinks at the local bar after work?. I was young and stupid.

Not crazy at all, like others have said you can't win if you don't enter. I've been entering sweepstakes for about two years now and so far I've won lots of little things and two big prizes. In December of 2011 I won a year's supply of Omaha steaks and this past February I won 24 roundtrip vouchers on southwest airlines from subway, keep trying you'll win that trip when your least expecting it.

There is a website for contest enterers. It is called OLS, on-line sweepstakes.

They have a forum there for Hall of Fame winners: people post when they win huge prizes. I find myself just reading how well other have done for fun. I get so excited for them.

One thing I decided a while back is to only enter large sweepstakes one or two times, unless there is some fun component to make me want to come back. There are so many people entering, the odds are just so low. What I look out for are local or regional games/sweepstakes to enter where there are fewer people involved. I

I have won a trip to WDW. It was through a local radio station's contest. Pure luck to call in and actually get through. I knew the answer to the question, no problem. I was one of 75 finalists.

Well just for fun I went and checked all my wins so far this year.

I think I did win some disney movie rewards points, I am not sure about that one.

So far I have won 39 books, 10 dvds, one cd, a toy, and box of chocolate that no one liked. (these wins were all from blogs). I donate most of my stuff anyway. Also some boxtops for education points too.

My ds keep asking me when are you going to win a disney trip? lol!
