I'm taking my DBF :lovestruc to the World for the first time in just a few weeks! :goodvibes We can only get a couple of days off of work so we're trying to do highlights from all 4 parks in three days. Is it possible to get all this done??? (Note: Everything in bold are our must-do's! Anything not in bold can be skipped if necessary!)

Friday, 8/20:

Get Soarin' FP
Test Track
The Seas w/ Nemo
The Land
Use Soarin' FP
Back to Hotel (Swan)
Lunch/Pool/Nap
Back to Epcot
Spaceship Earth
Monorail to MK (i want to show him some other resorts)
Get FP for Splash
Jungle Cruise
Philharmagic
PoC
Haunted Mansion
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
(multiple times? does this clear out during PM EMH?)
Wishes - 10:00pm
Spectromagic - 11:00pm
Anything not done before parade
EMH until 3:00am

Saturday, 8/21:

HS
Get RNR FP
ToT
Use RNR FP
Indiana Jones - 11:30

All the countries
Pick-a-pearl

Illuminations - 9:00
Boardwalk - Jellyrolls

Sunday, 8/22:

Does this seem doable? I would appreciate feedback!! Thank you!!!

Good luck getting up on Saturday morning, if you are in MK until 3am. Did they change the park hours? I though MK was only open until 11pm, making EMH end at 2am? I'll have to go check...

You must be young because that first day would completely kill me!!!!

The thing that jumps out so far is that you've skipped Toy Story Mania at the Studios. If you're interested in doing Buzz multiple times at MK, then you will LOVE TSM. You must get there early to get a FP or ride at opening. That might be tough if you're staying out late the night before, which may have just answered my question.....

Also, I wouldn't put The Seas with Nemo as a "Must do." It's not nearly a good as the original Living Seas attraction, and I love Nemo! It's really geared towards very young children, IMHO.

At AK, I would highly recommend the Lion King Show, and also the Finding Nemo show if you can fit them in.

And finally, I would advise you to stay flexible. Don't worry if you miss something because you can always come again later!

It does seem fairly doable. I don't think that you're going overboard with attractions, and you do have three days.

Just go into it knowing that you may not have to skip some of the non-bolded item. I don't think that you'll know for sure how things will go until you get there and see how the crowds and lines are.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. :goodvibes

The only thing I would definitely not do is go back to Epcot just to ride Spaceship Earth after going back for a midday break on the first day. I would add it to the Friday morning to-do list. Then I would take the bus to the MK and take a spin on the monorail before entering the MK so your DBF can check out those resorts.

Double check that Flame Tree is open then. I just read in the dining forum it's closing for a couple of weeks but I am not sure if that's true and when that is.

The rest of it looks like it can be done. You might be tired by the end of the weekend but sometimes that's part of the fun :)

Trust me you can do it!! Last year my DH and I hit all four pakrs within 48 hours and that also included a stay at MK until 3 a.m. EMH. If we can do it in two days you can do it in three! The only thing I would change is Spaceship Earth. Do it when you're already in Epcot. That would waste a TON of time having to go back through the gates to ride just one rides then coming back out. Do when you're there earlier that day or the next so that way you just get straight on the monorail. Otherwise good luck to you!! Have a great trip and wear REALLY good shoes!!

Yeah, but wouldn't they have to walk right by Spaceship Earth to get to the monorail? That was the point of doing it at that time, I think. Which is a good strategy since there's usually no line for SE in the late afternoon.

Agree, easy to do Spaceship earth if they are wanting to walk through Epcot from Swan to ride monorail over to MK & see the resorts. That said though, I would wait to check out the monorail resorts on your free afternoon & opt to get to MK sooner since you're touring MK later that day.

Unless you have your heart set on riding monorail from Epcot to MK you could always just do Spaceship earth in the morning while you're aready at EPCOT & as another poster said, you could catch your Swan bus to MK. Whether you go straight to MK or tour the monorail resorts you're saving a lot of afternoon walking back through Epcot.

If Living with the seas is your must do, I suggest adding Turtle Talk with Crush since you'll be there anyway, it is really something to see IMO

Back to your MK plan, since it's EMH you should be able to do Splash & Space Mtns for sure during the EHM, but as late in the afternoon as you're going to be arriving ESPECIALLY if you do the monorail resort tour, you may find no more FP's for Splash or Space Mtn available. So do your less waiting wanna's & save those for EMH if no FP's available. I think you'll be able to see everything you want :thumbsup2

One suggestion for AK day, when your FP window opens up from EE, why not then get FP for Kali River Rapids, postpone riding until after your lunch. That way if you get drenched on the ride, you'll be leaving the park anyway & won't have to eat your meal in wet clothes.

Again, if you postpone your monorail resort tour for the afternoon after AK, then you can at that point walk back through EPCOT if you really want to take the monorail from EPCOT to MK or just ride the bus over to MK & do the resort tour (I'd suggest a dinner at one of those resorts too) & then when you're finished, just take that resorts bus over to DHS early enough to line up for fantasmic.

Have a great time!

I've never done TSM and I would love to but it's closed for refurb while we're there. I'd love to do the Finding Nemo show if I can convince DBF to go see it!! Maybe I'll tell him it's a rollercoaster!

I just saw someone post new hours on the disboards. I can't find the post with the link anymore but I was super excited to see it because they added extra spectromagic and fantasmic showings!!!

I will double check on Flame Tree. I hadn't heard about that one. Thanks for the tip!

All good tips. I wasn't sure about doing Splash at night but maybe we'll give it a try. I thought the line for Turtle Talk would be crazy long, that's why I left it off the list, maybe I'll add it back on. I haven't been to the world in 6 years so I'd love to check out all the new stuff!!

I think we'll move the monorail tour to a different time. That day is probably too packed as it is. I'll add it to Sunday afternoon if we feel like it. Good idea riding Kali right before we leave the park! Although it will be August so we'll probably get wet because of some afternoon rain anyway!!

Thanks for all the feedback so far!! Keep it coming!!!

It was a crazy 3 days but we had a lot of fun! Most importantly I got my DBF to agree to go back for 8 days so we don't have to rush again! I can't wait to start planning that trip! Thanks for all you help!!!:)

Congrats! I thought you could do it ..I think when there are no small kids and you have fairly active people in your party, anything is possible. My sister and I have hopped to 4 parks one day, it was fun.

I'm impressed and jealous. I wish I had the energy to do as much as you did. Sounds like it was fantastically exhausting!
