Am I being rude?

Well of course your situation is different, your son was doing it to get back on his feet :)

Pretty sure most of us would consider getting back on one's feets (I've at least mentioned it multiple times) is different than going on. But clearly YMMV in that opinion department.

Of course I'm not looking for a back and forth with you rather to explain I don't view your situation as the same as the other.

My point was not if the situations were the same as far as their reasons, but rather that he wasn't "homeless" and neither is her dd. She has a home with her parents, she is just choosing not to stay there most of the time and because she isn't home very much, she keeps her stuff in her car.

I guess homeless is coming down to symantics. By traditional sense that one usually thinks of as homeless? Probably not. But I do see PPs' point when discussing it and would agree more with their viewpoint. The situation is rather unorthodox regardless of how one defines homelessness (maybe that's something we can all agree on lol).

Oh, for sure! LOl its is a different way to do things. And I am fairly certain that most wouldn't do it. I wonder how far her friends live away from her parents or her boyfriend from either one. That may be more telling into why she chooses this.
