I'm going to give you honest feedback since you asked about it. Otherwise, I would not have said anything. I ignore your posts. It is just too much for my taste. I sometimes wonder if you are really bored all day and that makes you post all the threads. I appreciate you being brave enough to ask.

I like dad jokes, so this idea appeals to me. Sometimes I open the domo threads if I'm feeling like a light joke would pick me up a bit. Never thought they were irritating, though there are a lot of them, and consolidating them would clean up the boards.

I don't consider you a troll because that is a negative thing meant for people who just drop in to stir up hate and discontent. But sometimes it's like you're spamming the forum with random things. I like the all-encompassing joke thread idea. But to have many random posts throughout the day that might be just one joke or a thought or an observation seems odd. Most posts here are meant to be discussions of sorts.

Yes, instead of the multiple threads, since it seems to bother some people, just keep one going and others can post their dumb jokes too. There are have been dumb joke threads to pop up from time to time.

How is giving an honest reply rude and hateful? Everyone here who's said they don't like it has tried to soften the blow a little bit. I think even the people who don't like the threads DO like Domo.

Being honest, a couple days ago if felt out of hand. Half the board was filled with them. What about starting a single thread titled "Domo's Jokes" or something. That way you can post your jokes, people that want to see them can subscribe or open it and those who don't can just scroll by.

Domo, I think it is nice that you realized it might bother some and asked.

I don't think of you as a troll---trolls try to stir up trouble, and I've never felt that about you.

I do, as others have said, find it annoying that often half a dozen threads or more on the first page are just silly jokes by you. And mostly I skip right past your threads. I also find it a bit annoying that sometimes the titles sound like there will be a real discussion or question, so then I open it and see, shoot, another dippy joke. I know it is meant in harmless fun, but it comes across as sort of "look at me" and "these are the Domo boards" sometimes, wich is not a huge big deal, but results in an eyeroll from me.

I really like Allison's idea of make one "Domo jokes" thread----it would likely stay on the first page or two most of the time, but not dominate the page. People looking for light jokes would know where to click and people wanting to be involved in discussions wouldn't get annoyed at clicking on what they think is a real issue or question only to find a joke. Heck, I'd be more likely to read your jokes myself once in a while if allowing one thread to load would let me read many, and if I wasn't sick of seeing all the threads.

Yeah, the problem is when posts with real questions and concerns get pushed off page 1 by jokes that I heard on Hee Haw 45 years ago. Dial it back Domo.

I like the idea of one thread where you could post all of your jokes. It would be the best of both worlds...those who enjoy them will still see them, and a single thread will free up front page real estate for a wider variety of threads. Win-win!
