Always the same resort or try them all?

When you travel to WDW, do you always stay in the same resort or do you try to experience them all? Which resort have you stayed at the most?

Hi! Throughout the past I have managed to stay at every resort- with the exception of the POP Century and AKL.. I will have stayed at all WDW Resorts and I love it. I love knowing a little bit about each resort and going back to ones we love, yet trying new ones. On certain trips-- for instance a 8 night stay will consist of 2 nights at a resort we have never tried and then 6 nights at the BWI or YC (our favorites). I think it is great to try new resorts, as it adds to the excitement of the trip and give you more to pre-plan and learn about the resort. ENJOY YOUR TRIP!

I would love to try all the resorts but my DH HATES change so it's really hard for me to get him to try different resorts. We are DVC mambers so for many years we only stayed at OKW. But I did get him to try AKL (because we were taking my grandparents on that trip) and now we only want to stay there! It's just the perfect place for us. It's beautiful has a nice food court as well as 2 rest. The pool is great and the atmosphere speaks for itself. We just love it here. It will be hard to try something else! Plus our 3yo DD says she wants to stay w/ the animals. I hope to try something new but who knows.

We fell in love with CBR on our first trip and haven't stayed anywhere else althought I'd love to try AKL....out of my budget though

We stayed at POR for our first two visits. Then, last August we stayed at the Polynesian. My dd, 9, said that she didn't feel like she was in WDW. Seems she equated WDW with POR!!! Ah well. It's all a moot point now since we have become DVC members and will be staying mostly at BWV. And I so wanted to try them all!!

My goal is to try them all! So far I've stayed at ASMo, ASMu, POR, Poly, AKL, Yacht Club, Beach Club and the FW cabins. In 17 days I'll be trying out CBR. (I'm glad I got most of the Deluxe Resorts in when I had a CM discount ) I have a potential trip in Jan. scheduled off site at Courtyard DTD, but if AP rates open up I might try Pop Century!

We have stayed on site 2x, at the CR & WL.

We really loved both & would like to return to both.

I would like to try a delux in each "area". We leaning on the Poly next stay. I would then like to stay at a Epcot resort & AKL.

Guess we'll just have to start going more that once per year!!

We have stayed at WL 15 times, GF 8, AKL 2, BWI 1, DL 1 and Poly 1. We pretty much just stay at the WL now.

As a kid Ive stayed at CR, Golf Resort(now SOG), and Poly each once.
As an adult Ive stayed at the Poly 4 times(3x were only 1 nighters), POR 2x, and ASMO 3x. We have found we really love ASMO & the Poly so we keep returning to those.
Within the next year we have 2 more trips planned and both will be split with the Poly & a new resort. Trying the Swan in Dec and ASSP in July.

Well we have only stayed at the Dolphin and now my DH doesn't want to stay at anything less than deluxe. I want to try some of the Disney deluxes, but unless I can get a decent rate we will be back at the Dolphin (actually have it booked for next Aug with an ET rate). So that is why I am on these boards every day anxiously awaiting discounts!!

I'm planning on staying at all of them some day! So far we've stayed at PO-FQ, CBR, OKW, and this trip we'll be at BCV. While we're there we're planning on exploring Pop Century. We usually pick one hotel to visit while we're staying at another, this way we can get a feel for them. We've visited CSR, Poly, CR, AKL, and PO-R.

I have visited all the Resorts, then if I realy liked them I would stay there....For years I would stay at the Poly then after I stayed at WL I became more of a one resort kinda girl. I still will try other resorts but WL is my home, my love.

I really, honestly had every intention of trying different resorts but once we stayed at AKL..... I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else!!!!

After my first trip I started splitting my stay because I want to try all the resorts BUT also have like most of the ones I have been to already and want to stay again. Also splitting my stay between a moderate and deluxe helps on the budget a bit.
I have stayed at WL 3 times which is the most trips to one resort. I have done all the moderates and one value (ASM). I don't know that I will ever try the Contemporary or the BWV.

I would love to try all the resorts, but when you stay in one you love it's hard to switch. If it were up to DH we'd always stay in the Contemporary (and I wouldn't mind going back there either). We've done the Contemporary 2 x (honeymoon & 1st anniversary), GF, Poly, All Star Sports (short trip -- it would not be on my return trip. Nothing wrong with the place, but there were too many kids running wild after 10 pm), AKL (I think this is my favorite), and WL. This December we will be checking out the OKW with friends. I would love to try to YC some day...

Have only stayed at CBR so far. We will be there again in December for trip #3 (only 2 where this year). Would love to try the resorts, too. Had ressies for PC; but due to arriving opening day changed it back to CBR. Hoped to try POR this time; but DM liked CBR a lot. Maybe next time we will actual try something new.

My DD & I have stayed at: POFQ, POR, CSR, WL, VWL, YC, BC, BWI, BWV, POLY, GF, & Dolphin. We have decided POR is our favorite mod, & WL our favorite deluxe. We like to split our stay between an Epcot resorts & 1 of our 2 favs. We also have rented DVC points multiple times & love it!

I started out with the need to stay at "all" the resorts eventually.So far we have stayed at CBR and CSR and hope, hope, hope to stay at WL next year.

I don't know that we will try every resort, simply because some of them just are not my taste.

But I have promised myself a deluxe this next time.And a stay at WL is at the top of the list.
