Alternative to Lime Green Ribbon

I hate to say it, but my mom discovered these a couple months ago, and the Cruise Line Forum knows all about them! I can't find my original post as of now (I get a message saying the search function is disabled), but I just wanted to let y'all know.

I was so wrapped up in going on my first DCL Cruise that I didn't tell the rest of the forum about it. Maybe someone else did though.

I'm glad everyone knows now!!!

This is the first time I am reading about them over here (lol). I went to the HD near my house and they were all out of the Alien green so I got the sonic boom green ones. Every other color had plenty of swatches so I suspect there are some Ohio DISers who beat me to the alien green ones.

I like the idea of putting the Mickey head in some type of holder with a pin attached. Can't wait for my August trip and I'll be on the look-out for Mickey heads!

The HD in Elyria, OH is out of both greens. They should be getting them back in stock soon...or so I was told!

Let me know if you can't find them, and I will send you some. I picked up extra (sonic boom-- they were all out of alien green--wonder why?) But sonic boom is still a very limey color.

Hey dznyacct, have you been to the HD in Noblesville or Greenfield? They had plenty last weekend! I stocked up on Alien Green & Sonic Boom and they still had plenty to spare!

I picked mine up yesterday. I think that I will punch a hole in it and put a lime ribbon through it and tie it onto fanny pack or something.

Had an idea. I traced the Mickey head on green (matches the Sonic Boom swatch) fun foam and cut it out. It won't rip or get wrecked if it gets wet.
