Hey, there! So, the ONLY character meal that my daughter wants to go to is Bon Voyage Breakfast. If that is still not happening in the fall, I'm looking for an alternative yummy breakfast on our non-park day. No characters needed. In menu browsing, I'm thinking Olivia's Cafe? Any other suggestions? THANKS!

Olivias is very cute in a nostalgic kind of way, but not very high on my list.

the breakfast at trattoria isnt character right now (which you know) but the food since reopening has improved 100 fold and I highly recommend it!

Not sure when Boma will reopen, but that’s another favorite.
kona cafe is another top favorite!

Thanks! Good to know about Trattoria, in the past, I know it hasn't gotten high marks!

Actually, last month I really liked our breakfast there without characters and I thought the pricing was reasonable for big portions! Plus it was pretty empty, we were one of like four tables.

Thank you, All! I've only considered Whispering Canyon for dinner- now I'll go check out the breakfast menu, as well (more skillets, I presume?)!

Yes. They do have non skillet items too. Just don’t remember what they are off the top of my head 😊We’re actually going this Saturday. Can’t wait LOL!

Olivia's is fine IF you want a basic American breakfast...eggs, meat, toast, in a relaxed environment, out of the way...that's why we went there and it was fine (but we are a couple in our 50s). It's nothing special/magical.
Grand Floridian Cafe is a notch above in food quality, presentation and price, but nothing special.

That's what I've heard! Daughter is being resistant (I think she's a little scared of the "big head" characters!) :duck:

Olivia's is better for dinner, as that is the only time you can get Olivia's potatoes and their fried chicken is awesome.

Does anyone know if Whispering canyon has breakfast pastries? I didn't see any on the menu.

The distanced meals (Topolino's, Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill) may be a good way to introduce the head characters in a non-threatening way as they do NOT come right up to the table but are away so that she can see they're fine.

Olivia's puts a Key West accent on their meals. So crab cakes, key lime sauces. Check out their menus on the Disney website. We are fans of Olivia's for any meal.
