Ferry to/from MK? Why yes or no?

Yes, because it is just fun to do sometimes. We mainly just take the monorail or the small boats but occasionally we will walk over to the TTC and take the ferry.

Is the small boat easier than the Ferry?

We like the resort launch (aka small boat) because it lets you off at the bottom of the ramp to board the monorail. Downside is if you have a stroller it has to be completely folded as it's really a small boat.

I know one bad location. The ME stop waiting to go home. ;) I always hate sitting there.

Agree 100%!

We almost always use the small boats instead of the Ferry if choosing to travel by water (if we do use the ferry it's from the MK back to the Poly, just for a change, never the other way). Depending which longhouse you're in the small boat dock will probably be closer than the TTC (unless you're over by Tahiti) and they don't carry as many passengers, so it's a nice casual ride. The small boats go directly to the MK from the Poly, but do stop at the GF on the way back, although we usually find it a nice ride to enjoy the scenery and don't mind. :)

So happy!! Finally called to switch our 9 nights at AoA Nemo suite to 5 nights Poly followed by 4 nights Nemo. Really wanted to do it the other way around but the kids (& the budget) won out. 'We' wanted to have 4 nights @ Poly but they only had a std view available for 5 nights (not 4-I know, sounds really weird to me), so I either had to take the 5 nights @ poly or none. I don't think we'll regret it. Can't wait to see how the poly has changed since my last stay (32 years ago)!

My only concern is that I needed to get off the phone fast to get my son to swim practice & didn't get to add my longhouse request. I should have no problem adding that later (like when I get home from swim practice), right?

You can add a request to your reservation any time, shouldn't be a problem! :thumbsup2

We recently switched our stay to the Poly! I am so excited this is my dream resort and I can't believe we actually get to stay here! We started off in AoA and switched our resort four times, but, the stars have aligned and we were able to afford the poly!:dance3:

I will be traveling with my DH and DD who will be two. We requested a ground floor room, because we have to "disappear" for DD to be able to fall asleep. I am finding this thread super helpful with my planning. I am sure I will be back with questions soon. But I just wanted to say "Hi" for now!:wave2:

We did almost the same thing except we only changed 3 times! Our DD is also 2 - we requested 3rd floor because DH is nervous about the sliding door. When are you going?? We are going in 41 days!

Getting excited for our October stay! Can't stop reading Disboards...hoping for a PIN or at least the seasonal discount or free dining. Fingers crossed...
:goodvibes

The Poly is a surprise for my kids, 16, 13, and 10, and a treat for DH and me. They think we are staying off property for the first time for 11 nights. They were so bummed. Little do they know I cannot stay away from the Poly. We will be there the last 5 nights. :thumbsup2.

I am so excited!!!!
