Glad to see lots of love on this thread for the Poly. We've been Beach Club/BCV fans but decided on a change this year. We've only been to the Poly to go to 'Ohana but loved the look and feel of the resort. That being said, we're excited to finally arrive in seven days and will enjoy every second of our two week stay (insert mental happy dance). I'll be easy to spot if anyone else happens to be there from the 9th to the 23rd. Just look for the big gray haired guy (40ish on the outside, 16 on the inside) wearing an Arkansas Razorback shirt and a goofy grin.

Hi There! We'll be there overlapping dates (19-25th) If we see the Hogs shirt I'm sure my DH will say 'hi'- don't know if he'll be sporting any razorback gear though!
I'm sure you'll enjoy the Poly- We love it-

Poly report so far.

The foliage could not be more gorgeous! I am always blown away by the meticulous attention to detail the groundskeepers display! Even foliage that has turned brown looks as if it belongs in a photo album! For those of you who are duck fans (yeah you) the momma ducks are walking around showing everyone their little babies.. They are everywhere. They even come to the patio and knock on the sliding glass door. (I think the last guest was a duck fan) I do not feed them cause they follow you like they have not eaten in a week.. But there are plenty who do!

The club level staff is always so kind and happy!

Cleanliness.. No issues what so ever.

Crowds have been moderate about 30 minute wait on average.

Anyone have any questions I will be glad to check them out for you. (I'm here so why not)

Sounds like you are having a great time! I had a few questions (if you don't mind )...we'll be staying CL as well. What are the afternoon snacks? And do they offer apple juice and chocolate milk (I have a 3 year old that can't live without either )? Also, does BouTiki have a lot of resort-exclusive items (shirts, mugs, magnets, keychains, etc)? Thank you for any info And looking forward to your trip report and pictures!

Snacks are goldfish gummy worms chips and salsa and assorted cookies from what I have seen. Chocolate milk and apple juice, just ask them and they will get it for you any time you want as long as they are there. Boutiki is chocked full of poly themed items! Hawaiian Mickey shirts, mugs, pins, magnets and even ball caps and straw hats..

I'll be staying at the Poly from 12/8 to 12/15 and cannot wait! My son is a CM so he got me an awesome discount that I just couldn't pass up. DH can't get the time off so it's just me this trip.

I lived in Hawaii for a few years so I'm anxious to stay here and get back that laid back feeling.

I love all the info on this thread ~ thank you all!

My son is a CM at Star Tours so if you see Mike from Chesapeake, VA, say hi! It'll freak him out, LOL!!
