I always say my life was so much easier before the Internet. I'm the kind of person that agonizes over reviews and infor action before making a purchase. It took my 3 weeks to pick a new hair dryer because of mixed reviews on them. Sometimes information isn't a good thing!

So true. I'm glad I didn't know about these boards before we made our first trip. I don't think I would have stayed at the Poly. I'm not sure how I picked the Poly in the first place. It was total blind luck. I think these boards are helpful, but can also confuse people. So many different opinions and experiences. I usually just tell people to try it for themselves. Thats the only way your really going to know.

Thanks for the pictures Carl! I haven't been on this thread in a while and I am now homesick for the Poly. Our last stay there was 2 years ago and this year we got a better discount at BC and since we've never stayed there we are going to try it out but I just hope we get back soon in case those rumors of them changing the Poly come true.

It's true. I was so overwhelmed by these boards. I think that's what led to my RC disorder.

It's funny you say that. In September we saw landscaping being done every day we were there. I had to find an alternate route back to Hawaii because the path was being blocked at one time. I thought it was strange.

I wonder if that is because of the grass they have. It's St. Augustine, right? That is some tough slow-growin' stuff. And I think most of the bushes are the loose structured kinds; not the right atmsphere for shaped boxwoods. Just an idea.

Wish I had taken advantage of the bounceback offer but we totally forgot to check out. Yeah you read that right. Our flight was so early we did the ticket printing outside the hotel and then the magical express arrived so we never made it to the check out desk! They sent me an email the next morning we were home Anyway, we are going back next April and just paid a deposit on the Storytime Kingdom house in kissimmee since we have my whole family going next time.

I remember you on the CR thread and we just switched from CR to Poly. Though we really enjoyed our stay at CR this past Thanksgiving the Poly kept calling

We were able to add an additional night so now we will be staying 6/7-6/17 at the Poly

Feels good to be going back home.

Thanks for that Tinkerbellie! The weather is gorgeous here today (highly unusual for March 17!) which made me think of the Poly and then I had an urge to watch Rob's youtube Poly video... Unfortunately one of my kids killed my laptop a few days ago (chocolate milk should never be in the vicinity of a computer ) and I lost the link (amongst a lot of other things ...). Your pic will tide me over until I track it down!

I emailed IPO to ask if any of my reservations would be cancelled since my resort reservation number was changing and they were super helpful with transferring everything over. They sent me a copy of my itinerary (including all my ADRs that I booked myself) and everything was perfect. They've been great so far.

We booked a 6:00 AM flight out of Philly should be checking in around 9:15 AM or so. We have a 10:15 AM ADR at Ohanas' if there's time we'll stop by before breakfast if not definately after. Would love to meet a fellow DISer and say hi

I noticed you are celebrating your DD's birthday, How old is your DD gonna be?

We are celebrating our DD17 skipping a grade and her HS graduation along with her acceptance to Temple University!!

It will be my longest stay on property. I'm really excited to just relax in Poly paradise for 13 days.

I was wondering if anyone knows...... Way back in this thread there is a link showing a photo of a bounce back code. Is this valid for everyone or do they change the code from time to time? We are going to Poly in June and doing AP. Not sure if I should try to book a bounce back when we are there (if that code pictured would work) for our November trip or if I should just hold tight and see what if any AP discounts come out for November.

Any thoughts? Thanks

The bounce backs do change periodically. The current one may or may not still be in effect when you are there in June. If the current BB is still in effect and the dates work you should definitely book it - 35% off it a great discount! (you can always change to the AP discount when it comes out, but I doubt it would be better) If there is no flyer in your room just call the BB extension - 8844 - while you are still at the Poly to find out what the current offer is. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply I did check the bounce back dates and they do work for me. It will be the week before Thanksgiving. This June is our 1st trip to Poly but since DH will have conferences to attend and will miss out on some of the time I really want to try to book @ Poly again so he can enjoy it as much as we are going to.
