Allegiant Air Flights. Super cheap!

I paid $20 each way for 1 bag on Allegiant. I don't know how many or how big those bags were, but there's something ?? about $200 for bags!

By the way, I was too impatient-jumped on $19 for the flight down and took the $59 flights back-if I'd only waited 48 hours could have had them for $19 each way. Shoot! But I'll remember that for next year!

What are your baggage fees?
When purchased at time of booking, a fee between $14.99 and $29.99 for the first checked bag and between $14.99 and $29.99 for the second checked bag will apply per person, per segment. If purchased at flight check-in, $35 for first checked bag and an additional $35 for second checked bag will apply per person, per segment. In all cases additional higher fees will apply for three or more checked bags. Bags that are "Gate Checked" will incur a $35.00 fee per bag, per segment.

if there's any rhyme or reason to how Allegiant discounts fares, I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

last weekend's fare drop was, by all accounts, unexpected. Especially for the November/December dates.

Ouch! Is that just for checked bags, or carry on's as well?

checked bags. there is no fee for carry ons. in fact, on our flight in June .. they let people express board if they didn't have carry on bags. I thought that was interesting.

No special link but our trip is just 3 weeks away and I have been watching their website religiously since about April and our week had been running around $68 one way. I think the closer you get the better the rate if/when they decide to run a special. It was only at $19 for 24 hours or so then our rates went to $29. Still a good deal but x5 x2 ways=$100 savings for us. If you can be diligent in checking and dont mind waiting or like us plan to drive unless something awesome comes up you should be fine

I looked at Aug and Sept too, and there are only 2 flights listed for the remainder of Ag. and none for Sept. I wonder if they are not flying then? I noticed that about 2 months ago too.
