All this talk of codes,, but what about...

I have been reading all these treads about Ap codes and the AP prices and the discounts you are all getting,, but I am courious.. I have seem Pop and POR ,Value and then AK,, but what about CSR, can some one direct me, will there not be a cose for CSR? I am a little confused. Sorry.

The codes normally apply to all resorts, its just that these people are reporting the rates that they were quoted when them called on their specific resort..

I tried to get a room at CSR using a code for January and I was never able to. I asked about it here too. People have reported using codes there sometimes, though. It may have something to do with the fact it's a convention resort and may be already booked. It can't hurt to keep trying but you may want to have Plan B in place. Good luck.

I just got off the phone with Disney and asked them directly about the codes and he said that CSR may not have a code if released to general public, it is cause they are a convention hotel and it will depend on availability. So now I need to have a plan... I may switch to POR? Is it worth the discount? I guess I will have to start doing my homework..

Last November we stayed at CSR using a general public room-only code. I think it all depends on which resorts have the most availability.

I had my TA apply a AAA discount to my ressie at CSR last week. So, there are some discounted rooms available there. It just depends on what kind and when you're going.

Of course, now that AP codes are out, I've instructed her to switch us to AKL or WL std. view if there are no AP rates available at CSR. I'm still hoping for CSR (it's our favorite) but at a AAA rate of $127/night at CSR vs. an AP rate of $139/night at WL/AKL, I'd rather spend the extra for a deluxe.
