All that's left if packing.....3 weeks to go

Have a great trip!! We will be there March 5-9 and I will pack shorts..you never know :) It seems whenever we go it gets warm!! Last year in Feb my daughter was wearing shorts/tank...so we will see! This will be the first time taking an infant..his packing will be interesting..think I mite take his entire wardrobe..5days..yeah..it will be fun!

Oh my! We have 19 days left now too! We're going the 10th (Leaving VERY early!) and leaving on the 17th! How exciting! lol Just reading this thread got me doing the Disneyland Dance!

I hope I did it right but realized I didn't have the ticker for my thread. I am so excited, 2 weeks and a day to go.

Looks like we'll be there the week after most of you: March 20-25. :yay: I, too, gotta start packing, but will have to do it in secret - it's a surprise for DS8...:goodvibes

I won't pack until the night before we leave. If I let my daughters they would have packed a month ago. We leave on March 11 to be there on March 12. My 19 year old neice started packing about 3 weeks ago. Anticipation! Isn't it great?

I'm so excited for all of you. We won't be going until late May.

We seem to always have to pack extra clothes. A jacket and sweatshirt are musts. We're kinda wimpy about temperature too.

I had to beg my DD to pack before our last trip. She didn't actually finish until late the night before. I'm hoping not to have to pack as much for our May trip.

I can't believe that we now have 3 weeks left before we leave for Disneyland!!!
Flight and room have been booked and today we bought our Dland tickets online. Now all we have to do is pack. I'm guessing that layers for the week we're there is the best way to go ?? 3/11-3/17.
Do you think I'd be crazy to pack a couple of pair of shorts just in case???
Definitely some sweatshirts for night and handy dandy ponchos just in case?
can you tell I'm making list...and checking it twice?? :laundy: :earboy2:

I GO THE 17th!!!

We left for CA on March 9.
San Fran and Monterey for the first 5 days and then 3 days at DLR.
I expect to wear shorts at least once because I am on vacation and that's what I do!
(from Canada too eh!)

Drew,
I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I actually wore shorts one day last week. So it looks like your chances are pretty good that you may get to wear your shorts.

We decided that our newborn was sleeping well enough through the night that we will be there March 12-16. I know that my boys will pack at least 3 times before I will make sure we get the right balance of clothes. Layers are a must. They normally start out the morning in a t-shirt and sweat shirt or light jacket and then shed the jacket. Jackets go back on at the end of the day. We are in the Phoenix area though so anything under 65 degrees to my boys is COLD:rolleyes: .

I just laminated my lime green mickeys from Home Depot tonight. So I am ready!

A great tip I read was to pack outfits for your children in gallon ziplocks and then you can bring one with you to the park if you need it. That is what we will do with the baby for sure.

Speaking of our baby- he went in for his 2 month check up today- 13 pounds! He has almost doubled his 7lb 6oz birth weight. I am just glad DH said he was going to carry him at the park! :thumbsup2

See you there!:drive:

Congratulations on the baby's growth, Momma is doing something right. We will be there the 12-16 too. I as going to Home Depot tomorrow for my paint chip. We'll look for you there!

and I am almost done packing!! haha!!!

Forgot to add that I got Disney Crocs for all of us (except the baby). I let my boys pick the color they wanted and now they ask 10 times a day when the mail is coming and if their shoes are here yet.

I love how comfy the crocs are but I am afraid they will be hot. I have been thinking about buying myself a pair at a local store. I think it is probably a little late to order a pair.

We are going the 12th-14th (from Mesa).

I hope it's not too crowded. This is a last minute trip for us...normally I like to plan it at least 6 months out, but we just decided to go this week.

WOW I didn't realize there would be so may Dis'ers there at the same time!!! :cool1:

Yep same here!:thumbsup2 I can't believe it getting close!!! i am going from 3/14-3/21!! I gotta pack SOON!!! :cheer2:

Where you all staying?? I am at Grand Califorian!!

Pixie dust for no RAIN this year for all of us!!!;)

Anyone brining a bathing suit?? you bet i am!!!::yes::Coming from the Northeast, 60's is WARM!!!

I am realexcited too. I am coming to the realization that we are facing a busy visit. We are staying at the Disneyland hotel. When we there in December 2004 the weather was warm enough in the evening to swim. Or least it felt that way to us and we we're not alone. There were people in the pool every night. Layering is always a good idea in Disneyland. I have been there in June when I needed a jacket in the morning. Anaheim is close enough to the ocean for it to be affected by the fog that the California coast can get.

Another person who will be going during this time--a last-minute trip! (I still to make figure out our meals, so I'm open to suggestions!) :cool1:

And I'm looking foward to sun, shorts and assorted silliness. And, of course, DLR. I'm also thinking about taking in a flick at the El Capitan! What other things are folks doing?

How exciting...so many of you will be there the same exact dates as us!!! pixiedust:
