first time staying at disney resort,stayed on international drive

We have stayed at Music & Movies but the All star resorts are all the same and you can walk between them all, we really enjoyed it there when we have been. The food court gets really really busy but has lots of choice Hope you enjoy, happy planning, we are at CBR in September

The food courts are great, everything in All stars is easily accessed and I would recommend you buy everyone a refillable mug on your first night, this will save you a fortune, you can fill them with coffee and hot choc not just soft drinks.

Hmm.. I think I'm stuck in the twilight zone here! Exactly the same, stayed on i-drive on all my previous trips, first time staying on-site, and it's at all star sports, and I'll be there in September!!! We must be long lost relations!!!

We did the early 90's along I-Drive near to Convention centre. Last 3 years we have done ASMovies - ASMovies - ASSports. This August we are back at ASMovies. Did not enjoy ASSports owing to a few evenings of rowdy youths around the pool at 2.00am. I complained to a manager at Guest Services, got moved to a better room and credited with $170 for the disruption

We stayed at Sports in Jan it was ok. We didn't like the food as much as the other All Star resorts so we did occasionally go over to Movies or Music to eat. We had the best room though it was directly opposite the food court which was really handy for drinks. The bus is shared with Music apart from MK where each resort has it's own bus.

I am sure you will have a fantastic time.

we have stayed here in Jan 2006, 2007 and 2008!!! havnet booked for 2009 yet although if/when we do i will be booking the all star sports!!! i would definitly recomend it, we have never had any problems and always get upgraded to a prefferred room (nearer to dinning etc...) we enjoy the food although it is only a short walk to the other 2 all star resorts and there is a maccy D's accross the road... never had a problem with the buses and it is walking distance to winter summer mini golf and blizzard beach! go with realistic expectations as it is a 2 star resort, although if given the choice i would always pick the all stars over a higher standard hotel on I-drive... have fun

We have stayed there the part three summers. We have stayed at all of the values and we really like sports. It is the first hotel on the bus route for all of the all stars. and because of that it is our favorite of the three.

Can I ask how long it takes to walk to the Mini Golf?

Takes about 20 mins walking at a slow pace, although the incentive is normally walk there and then walk back stopping for a macdonslads milkshake beofre heading back to the room...

If you decide walking isnt for you then just wait at the epcot bus stop and the driver will drop you off on the way, always very helpful and then just a short walk back
