All started with or by a mouse?

Ok this may not be the right place for this but I'm getting a disney castle tattoo on my foot tomorrow and what the Walt quote about it starting with a mouse there as well. Is it "it all started with a mouse"? Or "it was all started by a mouse"? I seem to find conflicting info.
I remember seeing it on a construction wall in MK once. So I thought maybe someone would have a pic ha. Any help is appreciated. Thx!!
